IC Striker Six - Fighting a War in The Great Unknown (IC)

(I think that since both my actions and Fluxx's actions were based on misunderstanding (Fluxx's actions being based on an underestimation of the height of the tower and location of the server room, and my actions being based on me misreading Fluxx's post), Fluxx should redo his post, since it was before my post, and then I should redo my post, and then everyone else should take actions and continue roleplay as normal.)

NONE OF THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!!!!!

Messorem waits idly by the door, shotgun still slung across his shoulder. He turns towards the engineer, looking down at them, clearly a rather imposing position to be in..

“You kkshhch- said there were no hostiles on this floor, correct? Would it be psssch- possible for me to investigate?”

“I may go psch- alone.”

Claira isn’t nervous about entering an active fire situation! Of course not! She doesn’t look scared, she’s just… ready! She isn’t shivering slightly, she’s just keeping her muscles engaged!

"Whatever powered I shall today, and the politicians."
"...Engineer; is there any paper in the enemy's server room?"

"Whatever powered I shall today, and the politicians."
"...Engineer; is there any paper in the enemy's server room?"
(I honestly can't decipher what that first sentence even means)
"Paper? Who even uses that stuff these days? And why would you need it? Eh, whatever, I didn't scan for it, so I've no clue."

"We searched. Delta Unit did as well. I doubt you'll find anything down here. Your best bet is to wait for the backup grunts to roll in, and I bet they will any second now."

Eletkos doesn't say anything, just giving a slight shrug and waiting on for upcoming orders to be given.
(but... your orders have already been given...)

"We searched. Delta Unit did as well. I doubt you'll find anything down here. Your best bet is to wait for the backup grunts to roll in, and I bet they will any second now."
“Affirmative.”

And so, he waits..

(I honestly can't decipher what that first sentence even means)
(Good.)
(*Evil laughter.*)
"Paper? Who even uses that stuff these days? And why would you need it? Eh, whatever, I didn't scan for it, so I've no clue."
"I was hoping to use papers' shadows. Objects that fall slowly are effective for attacking with."
Wha waits...

(Striker Six has full permission to breach, no need to wait for me.)

(I still have no idea what i'm doing, my apologies)

(I still have no idea what i'm doing, my apologies)
(Summary: Striker Six are breaching a server room and eliminating the enemy presence to steal all the data inside and get a sneak peak into their battle network)

(mfw I promise to be more active and end up stepping away for a month ;-;)
(That said, if none of y'all do anything, I can't progress the story at all)

Behind the concrete walls and flaking wallpaper, muffled fragments of sound make their way to Striker Six. Heavy activity. Metal banging. Footsteps. Panicked and strained voices. What the hell is happening back there?

thump

thump

Bang

Whoever's nearest the door nearly has their face taken off as some huge high-density object barrels its way through the entrance, into the hallway and smashing out the other side. Absolute pandemonium pours in from inside the server room, about twenty or so enemy operators shouting just about everything in the dictionary. Mostly profanities.

(I'm honestly drained right now)

Mizzium shrugs.

“Well…”

Then he walks toward the server room, pushing through the stream of random dudes.

Messorem looks up.. but remains fixed on the ground floor.

Claira is still anxiously waiting for somebody ELSE to move.. she’s planning on taking up the rear, staggering away as the doors burst open.

Wha climbs up the ladder, hearing the chaos coming from the server room.
"Throw boredom away and start running right now; Comrades, my favorite superhero destroys those who are in danger."
He glares down at the rest of the Striker Six, annoyed.

(Yeah I might not be at my prime to figure things out, full apologies.)

(If you can somehow give Messorem a reason to
a. get up to the second floor
b. change directives

he'll be more than happy to lead the charge, probably with a lot of unnecessary collateral.

Claira sure as hell won't.. so it's up to the others unless something changes.)

Eletkos is just following behind everyone else.

(only doing this because I am completely caught behind and I have not roleplayed here in a while so i need to get used to this.)
