PC Stuck Dead Men Tell No Tales!

I have almost 600 hours of gameplay and I've already done almost all the achievements, however, this achievement mentioned doesn't work... How to proceed?
 
I wish to ask the same question. I've only got two achievements left, and have defeated Moon Lord. I just found a Dead Man's Chest, went right up to it without breaking any of the traps, and right-clicked on the chest while standing right on top of it, and I didn't get the achievement. Do I have to die from it to trigger it? I'll try that out next.

EDIT: Yep, I had to die. So that's how you get it.
