Hey Terrarians
I’ve got a brand-new weapon concept that I truly believe would fit perfectly into Terraria’s melee arsenal .introducing the Nunchaku
Crafting Concept
The Nunchaku would be crafted from 20 lead bars + 15 wood + white string at a anvil ( Wooden Nunchaku)
Upgrade Variants
To match Terraria’s material progression, there could be several types:
Wooden Nunchaku , Silver Nunchaku , Copper Nunchaku ,Platinum Nunchaku, cactus nunchuck, bloody Nunchaku
Each tier increases the weapon’s power, for example:
Wooden Damage 2
Silver Damage 5–6
Platinum Damage 7+, etc.
fighting concept:
charged attack right click and light attack left click which can create combo attacks holding down left click to do a spin attack
Special Abilitis
Wooden/ Silver/copper/ Platinum Nunchakus
Right click to hit enemies dealing 50% more damage than base left click to quickly hit enemies dealing 2x damage
Hold down left click to spin the nunchucks around rapidly hitting enemies
cactus nunchucks
charged attack right click firing a big thorn and light attack left click to hit enemies leaving small thorns that deal dot inflicting poison
Hold down left click to spin it around spraying cactus thorns everywhere
the player takes 20 hp of damage occasionally
white string + 30 cactus at a workbench.
Bloody Nunchucks
charged attack right click fires a bouncy eyeball that inflicts deep wound and light attack left click to hit enemies heavily damaging enemies also has a chance to steal hp 5% chance 10 hp stolen
Hold down left click to spin around the nunchucks dealing massive damage and spraying blood around cutting through enemies
Dropped by dripplers 25%
Or crafted with crimatine
Why It Fits Terraria
The Nunchaku brings a unique melee feel, blending precision, movement, and skill perfect for players who love stylish close combat. It could easily become a fun and dynamic addition to the early and mid-game melee weapons.
What do you think, fellow adventurers?
Would you like to see the Nunchaku become part of Terraria’s world?
