Wow, this caught me unaware while I was off attending to other things!
I'd like to say congratulations to all the winners -- lots of great work, and lots of great competition. And many thanks to the fine folks who keep this site running and put their effort into making Terraria not just an awesome game but an excellent creativity tool for us tinkerers.
Minor trivia: The design is actually a spiral that starts inside and curves outward counter clockwise. The vortex-like clockwise arcs were an unintended side effect, though I really liked the way they turned out.
