My animated avatar doesn't seem to function in threads whereas others' avatars do. Is there a limit on this or something?

I think there's a file size limit, though I don't know what that is. W1K figured that out on TO.

I keep having to sign in again... it seems to happen after like 15+ minutes even though I've checked the "keep me signed in" box.

That was happening to me, and I switched back to http instead of https. Stopped happening, and the lag is gone/much reduced.

Another issue: The title "tags" for threads, when they are shown in the alerts box, show up either mixed with other tags, or "flicker" every few seconds when you keep the mouse pointer on the alert link.

I just noticed that happening to me, as well.

If it's the same as in TO, it was 50 KB. Not enough to get much detail (or animation) into an avatar.

The gif works normally on my profile and on my member card. It does not function in threads, however. Is there a different limit on this? Just curious to see if I can manage to get it to function properly. (the file is 25 KB)

Good, I was starting to think the forums were haunting me.

It can start and stop when scrolling the box. Also, I accidently clicked "Show all" to get the alerts page, and they were flickering there as well.

The Steam trophies require time for the system to check....and it happens a few times a day. @Skiphs confirm, please.

I've gone ahead and activated the steam account check early. If your account is linked and public, you should have your titles.

It's possible that there has been a change that made it so that all avatars uploaded past said change wouldn't animate in threads and such, but all avatars uploaded prior wouldn't be affected. My avatar's eyebrows no longer animate since I reuploaded it recently.

As to what said change is, I'm not entirely sure if it's intentional or a bug. I'm guessing it could have been one of those things removed in order to speed up the forum since a bazillion people registered at the same time.

My profanity filter stays ON all the time event though it's unticked and I tried disabling and enabling it several times over.

Page width doesn't seem to work either.

When I try to reply to a comment, it quotes another comment and not the one I want to reply to.

Not sure if this is really a bug but I have not gotten my activation e-mail yet. I may have entered my e-mail address wrong in the rush to get this username but is there any way this can be solved? I can give my actual e-mail if requested. Thanks (btw the new site and forums are awesome).
*EDIT* Looks like the issue is solved. Not sure if somebody solved it for me or if it solved itself but regardless, I am now activated.

This is a bug concerning social groups--
I got invited to a group and I should see a button on the group page that says "Accept Invite", but I don't see it.
I seem to be the only person that's come across this, as far as I know.
I'm using Firefox 32.0.3, if that helps any.

I had this for a bit when using HTTPS for the forum. Switched to HTTP and it stopped. Might have been a coincidence, but worth a try.

Also, moderators have two moderator banners on the mobile version for some reason. And the mobile version can't request the desktop version. Oh, and you can't view who liked a comment. I'm trying not to double-post, but...
