PS4 teleporter glitch?

Hey so I set up a teleporter between me and my boss arena but it only works like 10% of the time. What happens is l step on the teleporter and it makes the sound and everything but, when I re appear I'm still standing where I started. Then I keep trying and trying then eventually it teleports me to where I want to go.

Is it possible that you use pressure plates on both teleporters? Pretty sure you just get tossed around if you do. Try using switches/levers instead. It won't be automatic, but it might solve your problem.

Yeah, if you use 2 pressure plates, that happens.
