Teleporter

I hooked up a teleporter to an ocean farm of mine and back home. When I step on the teleporter and teleport home it works; but when I try it from home it doesn't work.

The wiring is all connected but when I try to teleport from my home to the ocean farm I get teleported to the same teleporter I was standing on.

It sounds like you have it hooked up in a manner that's looping the activation signal all the way to the second teleportor, causing you to be sent back on arrival. Can you post screenshots of it with the wires showing?

It looks like the problem is caused by your use of pressure plates. You're being sent back to where you came as soon as you arrive, because the game counts teleporting onto the pressure plate as activating it. Try hooking it up with switches or levers instead.

It's basically already been said. Mess with the location of the pressure plates or just replace them with switches and you'll be fine.
