Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Terrafine Project.

All credit goes to Re-Logic, for making all of these amazing sprites. This would not be possible with you.

The Terrafine Project is a texture back for Terraria. It will resize every sprite by 2x. There are 9,056 sprites in Terraria. As you may imagine, I do not plan on finishing any time soon, especially because every sprite is done by hand.

This special texture pack will see updates before it is finished, but as of now, it is being created for 1.3.2. Any spriters that want to contribute are more than welcome. To get an idea of what this texture pack will look like, here is the hive and luminite ore, before and after.

All sprites are appreciated, however I am only going to accept sprites that truly grasp the concept of a particular item. To submit a sprite

1. Let me know so I can put you on the spiriting thread. (unless you are submitting 1-5)

2. Do not submit a sprite created through filters. I want every sprite to be done by hand. (Frankly, it is impossible for a worthy sprite to be done through filters.

Your sprite will be declined if:

1. It does not match the style of Terrafine

2. The sprite is already complete

3. It simply does not meet the quality standards

Unfortunately this texture pack is no longer being updated.

When creating this texture pack, ArmyFrog went by the mentality that everything should stay true to the original sprites, simply in higher quality, so I doubt it would ever have looked like Terraria Otherworld.

Since this texture pack was never officially supported by Re-Logic, it would not have been purchasable content, nor would it have been added to Terraria automatically, although those who wanted to use it would've been able to voluntarily download it.

I think that the saw needs to be a perfect circle, like a normal saw. Other than that this is looking amazing and I am looking forward to the end result!

Well alot of textures did get updated so it is likely that the textures made originally before he decided to stop, no longer match up. He still hasn't released a 1.4 version yet so there isn't any images.

I was actually part of the original project, this texture pack is styled in that the textures are taken from 16bit with 2x2 pixels (to look like 8 bit) to actually 16bit 1x1 pixels. But blending them in such a way that they look nice while also matching up to what the original texture seems to be.

There are so many textures ingame that it takes a long time for most things. Since terraria is 2D they actually have frame based textures (like stop motion) instead of models that move around.

Revived as part of 1.4 but first version has not been released yet. There is still the last update from an older version(of terraria, not sure which version) in the first post but i haven't tried to run it in 1.4.
