Terramon is a content mod for Terraria that will eventually add in all 151 Kanto region Pokémon to the game. Think of it kind of like Pixelmon for Terraria.

The mod (currently) adds 13 different Pokémon that can be caught with four different types of Poké Balls. They can then be sent out as pets that will eagerly follow you around. You can buy Poké Balls & other Pokémon Trainer essentials from the Pokémon Trainer NPC, who will move in at the start of the game.

Features such as battling and shiny Pokémon are planned for the future, but currently the main focus is to add in as many Pokémon as possible!

Are the Pokemon right now just for decoration? Or can they fight monsters like zombies, etc?

I believe you can stilll send them out, but the mod is not to the point of actually battling. you can add your Pokemon to your team from ur inventory
