I’d say Solar Eruption is available if you’re desperate enough but I think you should at least try the more True-Melee one first.

I wouldn’t call Golem Fist true melee. But the ones that don’t have a launcher like the dripper crippler are fair game, right?

Fair enough but I prefer a challenging fight. However, I cannot promise to only use vanilla accessories. I can try, but I may use a few modded ones, maybe use Hydrothermic armor. I’ll see.
Edit: I will only be using the Community and Hydrothermic armor from modded. The rest will be vanilla, like the Fire Gauntlet and Celestial Shell.

Nope. I’d stay off Flails too tbh

I consider most Yoyos, Flails, & Boomerangs to be true melee. I just don't count things with projectiles that allow you to stay far away from a boss.
At least with Yoyos, Flails & Boomerangs, they all have much shorter range than say, a gun or a spellbook.
Now with the Terra blade you can attack enemies all across the screen
but if you wanna use the Light Disc you gotta get much closer

Not at all imo. It’s still has very good range.

ok boomerangs are not even really in the discussion
If you throw them they’re definitely not true melee
