that's not a challenge, that's RNG masochism.

The phobia challenges.

Aerophobia
You may not use Rocket Boots + upgrades, Wings (incl Hoverboard) or a Flying Carpet. Cloud/Sandstorm/Blizzard in a Bottle and upgrades are allowed.

Hydrophobia
You may not enter water. Water walking (through boots or potions) is allowed. Good luck getting that Shark Fin, though.

Acrophobia
You must remain below the Floating Island(s).

Ombrophobia
You may not go outside while it's raining. If it starts raining while outside, you must immediately build a shelter.

Ichthyophobia
You may not fish, enter bodies of water that have fish mobs (Jellyfishes aren't considered fish) in them, enter Oceans, get in proximity of Flying Fish, or summon the Zephyr Fish or Baby Penguin.

Astrophobia
You may not enter Space or touch/mine Meteorite.

Siderophobia
You may not collect Fallen Stars and Mana Stars (essentially comes down to no magic) or use any items that result in the creation of stars (Star Cloak, Holy Arrows, Starfury, you get the picture).

Mycophobia
You may not enter Mushroom biomes, collect any form of Mushrooms, or use any Shroomite Equipment.

Did not include haemophobia (fear of blood) because you can't evade an entire Crimson biome, and arachnophobia, because finding a Spider Nest is harder than evading it.

Some extras.

Schizoid Personality Disorder
You may not build houses for NPCs.

Compulsive Hoarding
You may not drop, discard or sell anything, but you may place blocks. Get loads of chests.

Pyromania
Requires: Flamethrower/Elf Melter (depends on how difficult you want it).
You may only use a Flamethrower/Elf Melter.

Cool stuff! What about
You must wear the fish bowl at all times. (ie. You can only breath underwater)

A boulder challenge! You can only kill enemies with boulders. Start with a Tinker Table so you can make boulders.

Edit: Staff of Earth is allowed too if you can kill the Golem with boulders to get it.

Make sure the killing blow on every boss is performed with the Copper Shortsword. You can whittle their health down with whatever other weapons you want, but the final blow must be done with the Copper Shortsword.

How is this not in there yet?

Blast Miner
Start the game with infinite Dynamite. This is your only method of mining, and you will not be able to mine Hellstone or above tier ores.
The goal is to defeat Wall of Flesh.

In Chronological Order
Starting the game, You may not make any type of Wooden weapon or gear.

The rules are as follows:

- Dying while preparing is permitted, But any deaths caused while fighting a boss results in an automatic failure, And means you will have lost the challenge. (Deaths caused by bosses you've already beaten once will not result in a failure provided you're at least two tiers above them. If a loss occurs when you're only one tier above them, You must defeat them again with gear of that appropriate tier. Failing to do so the second time around will count as an automatic failure)
- You may only craft gear up to what your current highest tier is, You are enabled to craft anything below your current tier but nothing above.
- You may not mine any type of ore higher than your current tier, Gems may not be mined until Silver Tier has been reached. (The only exception with this rule is for those who would prefer to mine gold to make a summon for King Slime, Due to the low spawn chance. Any extra materials must be disposed of.)
- You may use NPC's, But can only buy things up to 50 silver/Tier. This means if you're at the Copper/Tin Tier, You may only spend up to 50 silver per purchase at any NPC.
- There is no limit to Accessories, Other than Hardmode Accessories may not be used before Hardmode.
- You may only advance a Tier if you finish both requirements.
- One requirement is first securing a "Full set" of gear for your current Tier. (This means a sword, Pickaxe, Hatchet, Hammer, Helmet, Torso, and Legs armour piece are the minimal requirements for a set. Anything else you craft within the Tier limits is permitted)
- The second requirement is that after you have assembled a set, You need to defeat the current lowest tier boss to pass.
- Jungle, Necro, Meteor, and Hellstone armour/weapons are viewed the same tier was Demonite/Crimtane, And can not be crafted until players have advanced past the Gold/Titanium Tier.
- You may not craft weapons in Hardmode that require souls from bosses that have not been slain yet.
- Items that require wire are not permitted in boss battles.

If you're at the Copper/Tin Tier, King Slime must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Iron/Lead Tier, The Eye of Cthulhu must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Silver/Tungsten Tier, The Eater Of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Gold/Platinum Tier, Skeletron must be defeated to advance. (Obsidian may be used after this milestone)
If you're at the Demonite/Crimtane Tier, Wall of Flesh must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Cobalt/Palladium Tier, The Wyvern and The Twins must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Mythril/Orichalcum Tier, The Destroyer must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Adamantite/Titanium Tier, Skeletron Prime must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Hallow/Chlorophyte Tier, Plantera must be defeated to advance.
If you're at the Shroomite/Spectre Tier, Duke Fishron must be defeated to advance.

Any type of invasion boss may be attempted at any time, But please note that a loss will count as a failure. Exceptions are The Goblin Invasion after Cobalt/Palladium Tier, And Frost/Pumpkin Moon after Shroomite/Spectre Tier. Solar Eclipses and Blood Moons do not count toward losses due to the random spawn chance.

What about Hellstone?

Celestial Warrior.

You start off with a Starfury and a Star Cloak. You may only use weapons and Accessories that have a tie to celestial bodies. Feel free to loosely interpret "Celestial" for what you will. Like if you want to count Blizzard in a Bottle because atmospherical reasons, or Nimbus Rod. Goal is to kill all bosses? (I only tried the HM bosses and succeeded.)

Blue Moon
Sunfury
Terra Blade?
Venus Magnum
Star Cannon
Staff of Earth

Accessories

Band of Starpower
Celestial Cuffs
Celetial Magnet
Celestial Emblem
Celestial Stone
Moon Stone
Sun Stone
Star Veil
Moon Charm
Moon Shell

What about Hellstone?

As Kazzy stated, It's the same as Jungle Necro, and Demonite/Crimtane.

An additional note for King Slime however. Due to the low spawn probability, You are permitted to mine gold for a boss Summon, But only for that purpose. Any extra gold and rubies must be disposed of.

Try to get one of the many pairs of wings with out killing as many enemies as you can and try to set your record of the less amount of enemies you killed to get a pair, lets see how good of an angel you are when you are getting your wings.
This one is going to be fun.

The Leal Weapon Challenge!

Through the entire game, you are allowed to use just a limited amount of weapons!

It can be any weapon, be a sword, spell, gun. You start with it. The goal is to beat Duke Fishron

*Rangers must use ammo according to the current tier
*No explosives! They count as a weapon!
*Can't use traps! Lava, however, is allowed.

EASY: Up to three weapons. Pre-Plantera
MEDIUM: Just one weapon. Pre-Plantera
HARD: Up to three. Pre-Mech
VERY HARD: Just one weapon. Pre-Mech
INSANE: Up to three weapons. PRE-HARMODE!
YRIMIR: Only ONE weapon! Obviously Pre-copper tier PRE-HARMODE!!

Might be too simple but what about no potions/food? No healing or mana potions, and no buffs! (Not even honey regen)
