When I use my controller, it works fine half of the time, but at random, Terraria seems to be almost trying to ignore my controller (a wireless Bluetooth Xbox one controller) completely unless I’m pressing a button on it. Like Terraria is getting some input from my mouse, even when I completely disable my mouse. It makes the inventory unusable, and the hot bar defaults to the item in the 0 slot when I try to use any other item. I can still walk around and jump, but virtually nothing else works right. The only fix I have found to this is restarting terraria, which is quite inconvenient when I’m in the middle of something in-game or playing with a friend.

Update: It now does it even when I restart the game.

had the same problem before, have set up a ahk script that "unpresses" the keys and then prevents them from being pressed again.

figured out which keys were pressed with this software: KeyboardStateView
