Terraria CTG tournaments?

So recently I have been watching a lot of older capture the gem videos on youtube, which is always entertaining to me.
I also found this on my journey, but it was never completed, so I'm wondering why doesn't the community set up a CTG tournament like this?

Wow, well back in the 1.0.6 days, I used to play in a lot of them. I thought that the introduction of 1.2 gem carrier system would get people back into it like it did back then, but I guess not. They are really fun if you can get a full 5v5 going on.
