PC Terraria does not start

I've tried everything but i can't start terraria, i click launch, it says "running" for some time, then it goes back to play.
I also tried using Tmodlauncher and terraria was running but still didn't open, i tried a thousand solutions but nothing helped.

Hey @Forgities, sorry to hear you're having issues with Terraria.

Could you go to your Terraria installation directory (easiest way is to right click Terraria in Steam, select Manage -> Browse local files) and run TerrariaServer.exe? Does it show you an error when it launches?

In that case, could you follow these steps?

1. In your Steam Library, right click Terraria and click Properties... .
2. Under the General tab, add the following to the Launch Options field: -logerrors -logfile.
   
3. Close the window, then launch Terraria. Wait for the button to turn back to "Play".
4. Go to to Documents/My Games/Terraria/Logs and upload the most recent log to this thread.

That's strange. Could you delete everything in that folder and then try again? I have a feeling this is the server's log rather than the client's.

so i deleted the log that i sent (it was the only log in that file) and after i clicked play this exact same log appeared, just says "Error Logging Enabled."

That is strange, there should at the very least be a little more in there.

Could you upload your config.json file? You can find it in Documents/My Games/Terraria.

so i dont have config.json file because i deleted that file, i was watching some tutorials on youtube and they told me that uninstalling config would fix it, can i regenerate that folder?

It should reappear when you try to launch Terraria, even if it doesn't fully launch. If that does not happen for you that gives us an indication of where exactly Terraria is failing.

Can you try running Terraria.exe directly from the installation directory without using Steam? Just to rule out (or in) whether it is a Steam issue?

Try placing the below config.json in your Documents/My Games/Terraria folder and then launch Terraria. Does that do anything?

it didn't do anything, the error log is the same too.
