~Weapons~
You can use any weapon you want, but I would suggest something like a Legendary Meowmere of Starwrath

Hello,

It's funny to see that multiple people are looking for it to maximise certain stats.
This one about melee speed has also been done before: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/how-to-maximize-melee-speed.877/

That doesn't mean your setup was wrong though, It's identical as mine setup.
Keep in mind that sometimes it's worth to do a seach to see if it's been done before, it could save some time.
