I've bought Terraria roughly a week ago and have been playing ever since almost everyday and never ran into major issues, the fps would maybe drop to 50-55 for half a second occasionally but I would barely notice it.
Today I opened the game for the second time in the same day to go check something in my items, and the game was running fine, and after a few seconds it dropped to 35-40 fps. This would happen for like 10 seconds and then go back up, and back down, over and over...
I've tried to repair the game, delete the settings file, mess with video settings to see if some High quality details were making a change, nothing. The frame skip option actually makes the game run even slower in the "None" and "High" options for some reason...
