Why can't they just make Medusa a boss. A really hardcore much more powerful super boss. That way, she won't be an "annoying common mob", and rather something you prepare for. I want her to be ultra badass. I want "Blindness Glasses" to prevent her curse from working unless we stare at her for X amount of time (Like the lava charm), and I want Mirror Glasses to reflect her attacks back at her in Expert Mode.

That way she's stunned, and you can get close to her to hurt her. I want her to have a really horrifying melee attack that makes every player very happy to get those glasses.

Make her a mob with interesting dynamics, and make it so other enemies are less likely to spawn when she's around, but in return, she can easily climb the landscape (She's a snake for christ sake).

Also, there are tons of areas with slightly altered cave backgrounds and the like. Mushroom biomes don't really have anything except for a few mobs, and crystal caves are also a good addition. But what about areas that have other types of things? Boss spawners, or maybe just special, ancient chests. Maybe some of them could have a portal to an alternate, small dungeon, like the dungeon missions/scrolls in Torchlight 1.

Then again, this game doesn't like the idea of multiple maps, it likes the idea of one main one. Minecraft, on the contrary, has the Nether and The End in different maps and nobody complains about the slight loading time.
I would give this some serious consideration, but it's unlikely we'll get anything of the sort until Terraria 2.

Okay, back to 1.3.1. If it's wire-centric update, what do you expect to see apart from new wire color and logic gates?

Okay, back to 1.3.1. If it's wire-centric update, what do you expect to see apart from new wire color and logic gates?

New statue effects! wall/cieling-mounted teleporters! Teleportation platforms! semi-actuators (to make any block a platform!) Activated chests that spew contents! Launch pads that fire entities in a direction! Lights that toggle between multiple colors in a cycle! An accessory that makes you not trigger pressure plates! Maybe even a biome or minibiome themed around traps, wiring, and mechanisms that do things like suck nearby entities through them, deliver debuff/buff pulses, and have enemies that are essentially walking flame, dart, super dart, spear, and spiky ball traps, and have a chance to drop those traps, or ways to craft -new- traps.

I have to wonder about the conveyor belts that were placed going up and down though; does it meanif we hook onto it that we'll be moved up and down? (Given hooks are affected by the conveyor belt).

You should totally move when connected to them. But this would probably be usable for another facetank method of some sort. I'm calling it.

About the poll, I'd just like to say: 1.1. Without 1.1, you wouldn't have hardmode, the best part of the game.

1.3.1 is seriously going to massively exponentially largely completely unanimously gregariously infinitely change the game, look at all the things you can do in Garry's Mod with just some logic gates and wiring
