Other Terraria Launcher?

Does anybody think there should be something like the Minecraft launcher but for Terraria? So that you could choose different versions of the game instead of being stuck to one version. It would probably be for PC and Mac exclusively but I think it could be cool for anybody running a lower-end PC.

It already has a launcher. It’s name is Steam
