Do you mean these?

If the 'speech bubble' image is darkened for you, that mean you've read every message in every thread of that section.

Congrats to you, I guess?

So 4 years after the release of 1.3 on pc. We finally get 1.3 on mobile. Two years of delay by Pipework (2017 - 2018) then DR studio took over, reset all and finish it in half a year. So with the speed of DR studio, i wonder how many times it would take for 1.4 on mobile ? Another Big Wait ?
Please don't blame me, because the hunger of the community is endless.

At long last - and after many, many times asked for - we can finally reveal the launch date for the upcoming Terraria 1.3 Mobile Update!

In case you didn't figure it out from our Mobile Enigma video from earlier this week, the big day is....

Very special shoutouts to Apollyon (∆ㄕ◊レレㄚ◊и#9350), who worked as a team with Pikachu (Pikachu#3232), シRickjoseeツ (シRickjoseeツ#4924), and |ყσµɳɠ ℓεɠσℓαร|(|ყσµɳɠ ℓεɠσℓαร|#0586) from Discord, and @The Real Bryan and Mine® working together from TCF for solving the mystery the soonest that we could find on each platform!

(If you got a correct guess in sooner, sorry we missed it!)

That's right, in a few short weeks, you will have all of that Terraria 1.3 goodness - along with a complete overhaul and re-design of the Mobile Terraria experience - in your hands! We know you are as excited as we are! This has been a long time coming, but we are confident and thrilled with how things turned out, and we think everyone will agree that it was well worth the wait.

We will have a full set of release notes, plans, and information for everyone to digest on launch day, but for now, here are a few bits of info to keep in mind:

What platforms will receive Terraria 1.3 on launch day?

Is the controller or keyboard with mouse usable on mobile 1.3?

Not with this version, but stay tuned for further news about this in future updates.

I happen to own Terraria 3DS. Does that count as 'all current owners of Mobile Terraria'?
No, 3DS is not considered to be part of Mobile (just as Switch is considered Console, not Mobile). The 3DS reached the end of its update capabilities some time ago, and will not be receiving further updates.

I wonder if Chinese AppStore will be included in the releasing... I heard that there's already a company released a '1.3 Terraria Mobile' which was re-made by themselves(their version is...hmm...). So is it going to be switched to the formal version, or us Chinese players will have nowhere to purchase the mobile version?
Under Chinese law, all apps in Chinese stores must be developed published by Chinese companies. That is why a different company (iDreamSky) was licensed to develop a version of 1.3 for that market. Re-Logic, 505Games and DR Studios were not involved with that version, and that version is not generally available outside of China.

This version will be available from Google Play, the iTunes store (or whatever they call it these days), and (soon) the Amazon app store. If you have access to those, you should be able to buy/receive this version.

Edit for clarification - The Chinese version must be published by a Chinese company, I was in error on that point. So it is possible that the DR Studio versions (with modifications to meet country restrictions and translation) may be available in China at some point, but there is no estimate of when that could happen.

I MADE AN ENTIRE ACCOUNT TO CELEBRATE HOW HAPPY I AM!!! I HAVE WAITED AND ANTICIPATED FOR THIS MOMENT FOR THREE YEARS!!! Thank you so much to all the devs and people working bts in order to give us such amazing content. I'm so glad you all didn't leave out us Mobile Terrarians :)

Finally, the anticipated Masterpiece is happening (seriously, it took them about FOUR YEARS to release 1.3 on mobile) so people with phones can run it (except if they have below 1 gigabyte of RAM, Open GL ES before the 3rd version, and/or iOS 8/Android 4.3) :D. Good thing that all of Nokia's Android phones can run the update (for larger worlds you'll need a Nokia 3 or another equivalent, such as the recent Nokia 2.2).

Thank you guys for all the hard work, I'm so exited for this update! On a side note, will I have to start a new world to get any of the new stuff?
For some of it, you will. The marble/granite mini-biomes, Living Trees and the Underground Desert biome come to mind. Anything that is created when a world is first generated will require a new world.

You would be able to bring materials and crafted items from a newer world into an older world, but you wouldn't be able to create those biomes and have them function as biomes (spawn proper mobs or change background music, for example).

Nope 1.3 has more items, but 1.3.1 adds in a few items but adds in new
Wiring mechanics.
You misread my comment. Obviously 1.3 has more items but 80% of them are never used, when almost all of 1.3.1 is used.

What about Amazon fire? I have that, and it wasn't specified.
In alot of the other posts they said it would be later

Is the controller or keyboard with mouse usable on mobile 1.3?
Not when its released unfortunately...
[doublepost=1566057938,1566057529][/doublepost]I think controller support and the swipe up to jump is quite important to many of the people here. I keep getting the same answers when i ask about it, "Swipe up to jump causes accidental presses" It might sometimes, but very rarely and even if it does its not that bad if you jump a couple times when you didnt want to, id rather have a couple accidental presses than the new jump button control now. Its a major problem on consoles where you cant jump and aim at the same time except on consoles you can still shoot, on the new mobile you cant shoot or aim while jumping. These features are important to many of us, and i would honestly rather wait a couple weeks for you guys to add it than getting 1.3 earlier without these.
Controller support is almost needed too. Its like a switch but 100x cheaper for both the game and the console, plus quite a few other features.

It would probably take DR Studios approximately 1-2 years to develop Mobile from where it is now to reach 1.4, and bear in mind that the update is still in development for PC. ~:)

We are not holding up this update any longer for large, involved features such as controller support/full control customization. That has been said for quite a while now.

If some people have already decided - without even trying them - that the controls in THIS update are unacceptable to them, then may I suggest that you turn off updates for your app so that you can keep your current controls.
