tModLoader Terraria Overhaul - Gameplay enhancements and much more

HappyDays did a video on this, cool.

Terraria OVERHAUL! INSANE NEW GAMEPLAY MOD for Terraria! | New Weapons, Fires, Dodge Rolls! | PC Mod

Is anyone else experiencing mod or game crashes when you try to load OverHaul??

You may have an incompatible mod, or you may need to enable the mod and then restart the game, as the reload mods option can be a bit iffy. Update supposedly coming out soon with a lot of bugfixes, there is more detailed information on the discord linked in the main post.

Out of memory, launch the game, enable the mod, then close it and start again. If it still happens, you'll have to disable other big mods.. or your pc is just not good enough.

when the mod crashes iy gives me: "GlobalMemoryStatusEx" then a bunch of stuff i don't understand
I found a bug where upon killing the WoF your game crashes. Could you look in to that?
found a bug boi
I have no other mods enabled, still crash upon death.
Idk if this has been mentioned before, but but sometimes I just can't use a hammer on blocks. I try it from every angle but nothing works. Very small complaint, but also one I think is important
so uhhhh... you might have done a messup... mac support plz???
I will say that I actually like this mod despite most of the bugs.
the game crashes when you enter hardmode
So this is an interesting glitch... The one on the left was a screenshot taken with Terraria Overhaul and some other mods (Thorium, Spirit, Calamity) Installed and the screenshot on the right is just with the Terraria Overhaul mod installed. Good luck fixing all these bugs :)
I'm having the same issue, no crash message, just ctd.Died and got a ctd also. No other mods installed when this occured.
I also have the same issue as Orelka,
I was attempting to do multiplayer and whenever my friend tried to enable the mod he got an error
A few things from some really basic testing.
update the mod, it's all fixed.

yes i do, just saw the (updated?) faq, thanks for the heads-up. ill disable it.
spirit crashes fixed

does this mod have a config to disable the fire?
Added a way.

Havent downloaded this yet (or played terraria in a while) but i heard that you can climb stuff now....
any chance of adding in a swim function? like, not very good, swimming accessories would help a lot, but it would still help?

Just make sure torches don't touch wood, I think.

Also, 2x melee damage sounds awesome but a bit much (unless melee weapons are in some way nerfed vs bosses, I haven't had a chance to use the mod yet)

@Mirsario If I'm understanding correctly, the only thing other mods should have any significant issue with is player-rendering (aside from some current crashing with Spirit and other temporary bugs), correct? Therefore things like rotating arms, head, etc won't display correctly when wearing modded armor. So is it possible to either disable this feature in the config in order to get modded armors display properly? Or even better yet, is it possible to make modded armors still work using the new functionality, just with a simplified animation that doesn't need all new sprites? That would be incredible if that could work.

Otherwise, I gather all modded weapons *should* be fine, and will either use these new features or simply act as they would in vanilla. Just looking to verify that aside from some current fixable bugs, popular mods out there (especially large ones) should play nice with this -- before testing things out.
@Mirsario -- Would you mind addressing the above few questions/concerns?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to know if it's possible to use modded armors in a similar manner to those re-sprited for your mod, but in a simplified fashion without having to make new sprites for them all. It would be great to see this in a future update.

Thanks for letting me know, just died a little bit inside though, swords are nearly useless. You really cant hit an enemy without getting hit unless you roll and attack at the same time.
Enemies hit have a small window in which they can't damage you, so by timing correctly, you can Charge up a swing and then retreat
