Red, could you make the "Holy Dodge" buff of Hallowed Armor play a sound when it triggers and is consumed? This would help players notice the buff's removal more clearly during combat.

I'm really excited for what is Re-Logic about to do on May 16th, due to it being the 14th anniversary. Hopefully, we get to know something else for 1.4.5 (a release date, week or month, or a trailer would be great options).

I am quite happy to see Summoner Minion reforges... For AGES they were cursed with the universal and magic reforges that had nearly no effect on them: this was the reason why Ruthless was always the best reforge for a minion, because speed, crit chance (lmao) and mana cost reduction did literally nothing for those weapons. Knockback had effect, but that's too minor to be significant.


I would also like it Fabled, the reforge that seems to be the best reforge for these weapons, was obtainable on every minion. Pretty sure it'll give knockback too... In that case, we don't get to have fun with a Fabled Blade Staff.

Yeah, I personally would rather get it on the 4th of next month so it lines up with all the other awesome releases that day tho

It's best not to get your hopes up about this date. I think it's very unlikely that they'll give a release date or a trailer for 1.4.5. As I said before, they might make 1.3 available on Steam and that's it. What I wanted for this date was a special gameplay of 1.4.5.

Around this time, I am not expecting anything major for the anniversary other than a 1.3 release on steam to complete the list of classic versions.

Of course they could drop a sneak peek for the anniversary but something like a release date or a trailer (which when did they do trailers for non major updates nowadays?) is highly unlikely considering the amount of stuff they keep on adding (hope for alot, but not for feature creep)

They said they are very sure that it's going to release this year. Honestly I hope so too, it's been like... 2 years since the last update. Would be nice to get it released this year.

I’d love for it to release this year, although it’s probably a good idea to not get your hopes up about that because we’ve been given release years before and they were never really for sure as far as I know

If they get excited, they can delay it again to 2026. They're not even completely sure if the update will come out this year, which is why Red recommends playing Core Keeper so much.

That applies to basically every melee weapon that isn't a sword unfortunately. Terrarian was lucky enough to get a modifier nothing else has (A custom version of Legendary that's completely different from the normal one) but that's it for those.

I'm aware of Legendary2 and that's precisely the point, Yoyos should also get dedicated modifiers now that summoner weapons get them.
