Hey, no reason to act like any of that message wasn't purely for fun or theoretical. Symbolism in that vein is interpretive, and if I framed it in a way that was acting like I was correcting what you said then it wasn't my intention. My intention was elaboration.
And besides, my experience of aether is exclusively tied to the idea of it being a 5th element higher than the rest in the classical elements (quintessence), as well as a theoretical substance (luminiferous aether) used to explain how light travels through space (because for a relatively short duration in history photons were thought to exclusively be waves rather than particles which meant that there had to be something it was waving through, so aether was proposed as a solution to how what they were waving). My interpretation had nothing to do with any major religions.
I'm unsure why you brought up hallow and elysia so elaboration on that bit would be interesting so I could learn something. Terraria already has an interpretation of hallow and it's very different from its interpretation of aether, and as far as I know elysia is derived from the afterlife in greek mythology, specifically for good souls (being a region of the underworld titled Elysium) rather than having any association with light specifically, but if there's an earlier or more prominent origin on that feel free to correct it.
