Terraria State of the Game - July 2024

The August State Of The Game comes out in 2 weeks! Let's hope and pray it has a release window for 1.4.5! (Although when the August SotG DOES release, the only months left in 2024 will be September, October, November, and December, so at the very least, they can change the release window from "2024" to "Fall or Winter 2024")

This simply isn't going to happen, regardless of how many people sign a non-binding petition. There are many legal and copyright reasons why the T:OW code/assets will never be released into the public domain (and neither will Terraria's).

This has been addressed many times by Re-Logic. This 'petition' has no effect on their stance on this matter.
 
Whoa, a turkey image, man, that reminds me I never even got to meet Ocram, Turkor, or Lepus before they removed, hey ReLogic, any chance you could bring those three back maybe as optional bosses at least, though itd be cool if they were required for world progression, honestly speaking I think its kinda sad they were cut from the game even though they were version exclusive, I think theyre pretty cool, but thats just my opinion.
 
Quite interesting that Redigit never mentioned Turkor the Ungrateful not coming back at all. And that turkey sound effect sounds way too similar to the ones that were used by Turkor. Also, I'm pretty sure that Redigit or Cenx mentioned that if they are adding a new boss, that would have to be in 1.5. But at the same time, y’all added a new boss into the game in 1.4.3. And since there are no turkeys in the game which you would get the voice change accessory from, and orcas are coming back. Does that mean we could be getting Turkor in 1.4.5? (Since that was the only normal boss with a unique AI in old mobile/3ds versions)

The August SOTG is coming in a week! I'm still hoping and praying that it'll have a release window for 1.4.5!
Also if Turkor IS coming back, they'd have to implement a Thanksgiving event similar to the Pumpkin and Frost Moons! Maybe that could be a prehardmode seasonal event! And Lepus could back for an Easter event!

Well, I don’t think Lepus is coming back. Since back in April, Redigit said something like “With Easter around the corner, I’m happy to announce that Lepus will not be coming back.” On Twitter. Oh, and if they’re implementing a Thanksgiving event into the game, that could be a hint that 1.4.5 is coming in November.

Well then, that means that in the August SOTG, they could change the release window from "2024" to "November 2024". But we'll see! It could come in September, October, or December as well! We just have to wait a week

I honestly don't think Turkor is coming back either, but if we got a Turkey pet like the old one to go with the voice changer that would be pretty cool
Maybe make it so that the turkey pet also makes the same sounds occasionally?

hay so i had an idea for a new early hard mode summon as you know we have wepons goten from fishing e.g. crystal serpant and the toxicarp
but sommener dosent get one so i had the idea for a hard mode summon obtained from fishing in the underworld called the lava ring staff it summons little rings of lava that shot out rings of fire and after getting hit by the progectile they give the enemy the hellfire de-buff
