Seed combos - and seeds in general - take a good amount of time. They are almost "games within the game" with their own set of rules and problems. I can think of one that shall not be named that has been particularly pesky to get "right".

I think it would be fair to say that this particular section of the update has caused some portion of the length of the time taken... but we are too far down the road now. Not every seed combo is a "secret/special" combo to be clear - so it isn't 128 special seed combos that we are trying to manage. However, each one needs special care - again, like a game within a game.



We have debated such, but as @J Bame noted, this would likely create more confusion than helping things. Game dev is not a linear process... just for one.
I would like to point out that if you said all this in the next state of the game, more people would see it, and it might ease the community's feelings (This being the internet, it might also have no effect whatsoever)
 
Also is it possible to to make Pumpkin Seeds drop from Pumpkins and for Cherries to drop more often from Pink Sakura Trees? (I know you can get both from other sources, I just want them to be tied to their respective plants)

I think you should put this in the suggestions forum, though I’m not 100% sure
 
Most minor hotfixes tend to be located in close proximity to launches - outside of something critical. That said, I would be way out over my skis to try and give you any technical reasons for why any specific thing wasn't addressed that way.

I would have to defer to Kazzy on that.
He is asking if there is any possibility that, if more 1.4.x updates begin development later down the line, we will still get hotfixes for bugs that are reported along the way. There are a lot of internal development issues why you can't release hotfixes for 1.4.4 right now, but i imagine that for the future this could be a possibility.
 
I really have been hoping for a chance of the guinea pig pet coming back in a future update. I had my hopes up after seeing the re-adding of the orca. Having a pet like that would be so much more enjoyable.

I wonder how Sky Block + Don't Dig Up seeds would interact
 
The entire world is filled in with occasional holes where sky islands were
Or, the entire world is a bu ch of sky islands at various layers of various biomes, that you have to build between and make a system to move around. Though that might just be the normal skyblock seed we don’t know. (Side note but nice pfp)

The Palworld x Terraria update has received its release date... Now let's hope we get the release date for our beloved 1.4.5 😔🙏🙏
