Terraria State of the Game - September 2024

I'm happy that Re-Logic keeps delaying an update simply because they keep finding more and more content to add. I think that's a really great way for a company to be. Re-Logic is outstanding, the amount of care they show for their game is incredible to me. They could've stopped after 1.4 if they wanted to, but they didn't. They keep updating free of charge with an abundance new content. Re-Logic is very generous, and I praise them for that.

I concur, I agree it is good they want to beef up the update and add extra features, also bug/hotfixes theyre important too, to keep the game steady, stable, and balanced.

MEET US AT ESSEN SPIEL!
From October 3rd to 6th, we’ll be showing Terraria: The Board Game at Essen Spiel in Germany; the world’s largest tabletop game convention. If you’re coming to the show, we’d love to meet you; please stop by Hall 4, booth 4C430 to check out the latest version of the game (we’re between Hall 5 and the Galleria).
I was there today, on October 06 and it was very much fun to play a demo with Matt. He explained everything to us on the rules very concisely. Here are some impressions:

so how does the game play? do you have to read the rulebook a lot? or is it easy to play? did you win? was it fun?
If you did play the video game Terraria, the rules will be easily learnt. It is OK there to read the rule book a lot, so that you can play precisely. The game is made to last 2:00 - 2:30 h but we played only the first 40 minutes as a demo so that many others can try out the game there. So it was impossible to say if we won or not. I as the yellow figure would have gone down under to hell, if the game went on.

where i could find the info about 1.4.5 changing reforging mechanic???

I don't think that is real. Though I will allow that I haven't been keeping up with all of Terraria news I do not recall hearing about a change to reforges. Just to be sure, I checked a few months of SOTGs back, nothing about reforges. Maybe news about this reforge change is from a different site?
What you are describing sounds a lot like what the Calamity mod does... if that is what you are thinking of.

Actually, there was a hidden spoiler in the TCF 10th anniversary event.

Here's the link to a Reddit post that someone made about the new spoiler.
