Terraria suddenly crashing on Linux

I'm playing on a Linux machine and suddenly the game freezes and crashes. The music stops and repeats on one note even after the game is closed.

I don't know if this is Linux or just my computer.

I have decent RAM and processor, can someone help me?

Is XNA installed? I have had numerous issues with it working on vanilla and modded Terraria.

Also what linux distro are you using that can sometimes cause issues. I had to switch from Kde neon to Kubuntu and the game worked better but I still have issues with XNA.
