Also, this recently happened with world-gen:

Also, how do you post screenshots? Right now i'm using Camera Mode and when I press F12 nothing happens.
So I'm not sure if I even have Steam.

ya know what sucks right now. I have to lose my awesome, OP character and restart with a total noob of a character just cuz of a simple bug/glitch. im so mad right now. ~:mad: at least I haven't lost my epic world. R.I.P me...

Did you search in your recycle bin (windows only) ? if you didn't , you should've made a backup of whatever-your-character-is-called , sorry for that

And this is why I make multiple characters.
Also, if you remember what he had, you can use TerrariaInvEdit or something similar to cheat the stuffs back in. Or do what @amenyoussef said.
