Just started a new large world today and the lead deposits emerge generous, especially this one near a lake.
Ehh, if you always saw little deposits of ore, and decided to dig down, you would find a big deposits of ore, but still huge!!!Just started a new large world today and the lead deposits emerge generous, especially this one near a lake. View attachment 283729
After the digging, I now have 111 blocks of lead ore. All that remains is a furnace!Ehh, if you always saw little deposits of ore, and decided to dig down, you would find a big deposits of ore, but still huge!!!

I love this story. You took me on an adventure. And then when I enlarged the image it all made even more sense.New playthrough, got metal detector really early, before I even set up a chest to dump stuff to, and saw that there's chest near the spawn. Dug like 10 shafts and explored a bunch nearby, tried to "triangulate" it - no luck. Eventually convinced myself that I just misremembered, and that I already had own chest set up.
Days later, it's a slow day, figure, hmm, I only have 3 spelunker potions, but I never use them anyway, let's try finding that chest...
...usually this stuff happens with strange plants, where worldgen finds a tiny water filled hole and decides it's a good spot, first time I see chest hidden in similar fashion.
I don't mean to brag, but I once found cobalt deposits about ten times that size. Sadly, I don't have an image of it because my device won't let me take screenshots.Just started a new large world today and the lead deposits emerge generous, especially this one near a lake. View attachment 283729

Come on, this stuff happens all the time LOL.
It was so close that it played the underground corruption theme instead of the dungeon one.
I dug into it only for the heart statues.
A jungle keymold at the beginning of hardmode. Best luck I ever had.
And now for some old ones:
Quite possibly the most blood jellies on the screen at once.
Trapped Zombie.
Snatcher and Man Eater.
Wrong biome, pot!
The dungeon meets the crimson. In case you were wondering, I purified it.
Um... win I guess?'
AND NOW FOR SOME WIERD WORD GEN:
Iron... in sand... yeah. Also background walls are missing and random blood alter.
Um...
A normal chest in the ocean? What a ripoff. But hey, at least there are 2 ironskin potions.

Good no esc.
Me too.
I found a locked Shadow Chest at the very end of my world

Same thing happened to me. Don't mean to double post, sorry
