Help! I am trying to re-texture the wizard hat(from Tim). How would I do this? I have tried the official guide but that doesn't help. Is there an easy way to do this?

I strongly apologize for necroposting, but you should be able to find the wizard hat which is Armor_Head_14 (and wizard hat icon is Item_238 )
if you don't have the sprites, you can convert XNB to PNG by using TConverter (my personal recommendation)
so that you can get the sprites to re-texture.
and then when you manage to re-texture the wizard hat you should place them on Images folder
like this:
folder| Your Resource Pack(whatever your resource pack is called)
↓
folder| Content
↓
folder| Images
