Aerovelence is a mod that focuses on introducing new systems and features while expanding on the vanilla game.
This mod has been in development for 2 years now, with a lot of content to back it up.
You can find more information below!


This mod adds features from Pre-Hardmode all the way to Hardmode
and then expands into the postgame. There's a lot more progress, but
if we added it all to this post, it would get way too long.

The Crystal Caverns
The Crystal Caverns are a huge, elaborate cave system with various structures. This biome also includes a water sub biome,
and an ancient city known as the Crystal Citadel. There's a lot planned for this biome, so stay tuned!

The Crystal caverns will experience a huge electrical charge, the result of disturbing the natural order.
Electric themed enemies will spawn with unique gimmicks.
A violent electrical storm floods the land...
THE SHIELD SYSTEM
The shield system adds a whole new type of accessories, called energy shields. Each shield is different,
and their abilities and stats depend on the model of shield. If you're familiar with
how the game "Borderlands" works, it's pretty similar to that. You can recharge your shields instantly by
standing on a recharging station, or waiting a certain amount of time for your
shield to recharge in combat.


Recharging Station
Used for various different items, but most importantly the shield. Will instantly recharge your
shield, but has a very high cooldown to prevent cheesing bosses.

Shield Capacity
The total hit points of the shield.

Recharge Rate
The rate in seconds which your shield recharges at.

Recharge Delay
The amount of time in which you have to wait in order for your shield to begin recharging.

Shield Ability

This varies by shield, but an ability can be something like deflecting projectiles or absorbing shot projectiles.


IMPACT SHIELDS

The standard shield model, excels in protection and recharge rate.

TURTLE SHIELDS
Polarizer.png

Loses out on a lot of abilities, but provides incredible defense.
Slow recharge rate.

BUBBLE SHIELDS
CrystallizedWall.png

Lacks in defense, but recharges fast. Usually has the best abilities.

NOVA SHIELDS
Firewall.png

The fastest shield to recharge, but lacks in defense. When the shield breaks,
it'll let out a very damaging explosion.

FAQ
Aerovelence will eventually release, but there is no planned release date.

i wonder, what do the ore clusters do if anything at the moment ore are they meant for future plans with the mod?
