Am I the only one who prefers the old nights edge (I even think the new demonite armor looks ugly compared to the old version).

Yes, but only if we get the ancient Blade of Grass, Light's Bane and Fiery Greatsword as well (you need all of those to make the ancient NE)

To be honest, I think the ancient nights edge should be a rare drop in shadow chests rather than crafted.

As does it make sense to be able to make something is supposed to be old?
