Yes. A banana biome.
Its the mushroom alt that goes with the Savannah, my jungle biome alt. Let's just get to it.
....before that, let's discuss the achievement of finding this biome!
Going Bananas - "Build or encounter a banana field above the surface."
Now, here we go:
This biome always has a shiny, yellow hue. It is always day in the Banana biome. During a Blood Moon, the biome has a unripe-banana-green.
The Banana biome is dotted with tall, no, not banana trees! Giant. Peeled. Bananas, which look like this

The muddy ground is dotted with

shiny, yellow grass. Bananapillars, and Shining Snails creep around, in the grass, ready for the catching.

Small bananas sprout from the ground, fresh for picking. You can use them to make Healing Potions! But watch out, many monsters will want to defend their home, some could say they've gone bananas!

My only complaint is that a banana biome would make sense on the surface whereas Mushroom biomes make more sense underground, but I suppose you could have glowing bananas underground :dryadtongue:

You know whats funny? My theme is actually not about glowing mushrooms, and darkness and all that. Its supposed to be about shiny bananas, and sunlight, and beachfronts, and all that.
Also, if you want to use real-world logic, human beings glow as well :p
