OOC The Bar for Celestial Outlaws

Creeper326

Plantera
Greetings spacer.

It is the year of our lord, 5433 AD, and you have found yourself in the vast emptiness of space, chains around your wrists and ankles as you come awake inside of a dirty cargo hold. Several other people, aliens and humans alike, bound and collared surround you. You notice two muscular aliens with short limbs and elongated faces, wearing red armor with helmets with a single eye slit looking out, one holding a plasma rifle and the other a kinetic pistol. As your memories surface, you remember the space craft you were on was boarded by pirates. Instead of killing you, they took you prisoner.
Just as you begin looking around for anything to help, alarms blare as the ship rocks and suddenly all the lights go out. The two guards flick their lights on, sweeping the muzzles of their weapons over the captives and yourself as they talk in their alien language into a communicator in their helmets.
As they pass you by, you notice you have enough space to move, and so do the other prisoners. One prisoner uses their chains to wrap around the guard's throat, choking him out while another prisoner stands up and uses their shackles to knock the guard out through the helmet. Soon, the captives, yourself included, have freed yourselves and are deciding who gets to hold the guns and wear the armor.
The group scours the cargo hold and finds an old manual to the ship as well as all the equipment the pirates stole from you and your own ships, with the exception of weapons, which you suspect they stored in the ship's armoury. You see you are in a freighter class ship, with two spare drop ships supposedly in the ship's hanger, with enough space for the lot of you to squeeze on. The journey from the cargo hold to the ship's hanger is a little ways, down a few corridors and with plenty of dangers on the way, but with enough determination, charisma and group communication, you should be able to make it out.
This is where your otherworldly legend begins, spacer!

1. Respect each other. If you've got a problem with someone, talk with them either in private or OOC.
2. No godmoding. Whatever the DM says goes.
3. Please try to keep in character.
4. 3 OC's per player.
5 - DM shall showcase plot relevent or none character actions or descriptions in bold, in the dark blue text color, and in between brackets [].
5.ii - If something is in between brackets [] it may also contain content from NPC's.

Several factions, human and alien, have gained power within the Milky Way Galaxy since the interspecies space race and arms race has kicked off. Each race and most worlds are in constant competition to out do one another and eager not to have their power undermined. There are some races that are content to stay remote and on their own planets, but they usually are victims of progress and those who exploit cheap labor and land.

Some aliens, not all, but a few examples:
Zalans, humanoid plants. Space is a vacuum, so organic life is going to be pretty hard to thrive out there. However, the Zalans can live without air for a limited time due to their organic biology allowing them to make a temporary vacuum suit for themselves.

These guys can give off pheromones to influence the emotions of other people while also portraying their own emotional state.

Maronisans are lizardfolk like aliens, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They have scaled skin, snouted heads, claws and have more angular limbs than humans.

Many come from primitive backgrounds and since have become a target for slavers due to their physical attributes and lack of modern weaponry to defend their planets. However, this species is in the process of advancing their tech and becoming another player on the interstellar board.

It is rumoured they are the descendants of dragons.

A lithe type of alien, the Vorax. They are used to zero/low gravity, indicating they're from a small planet, and they've used that to become very mobile and perform like spies, assassins, rouges, thrives and more activities that require finesse and flexibility. They can have up to five red eyes on their faces. Their hair is thick and wire like, and they have grey skin. They have multiple limbs.
GreenMetaKnight - The obesk are an alien species from corru.observer. They're similar to humans, but with a few differences;
Obesk have natural chitinous armor. (Seems familiar)
Obesk have receptors on their heads. The details of these depend on the kind of obesk, but all of them have one thing in common; they can connect to corrucystic technology.

Tir obesk have branched receptors, like antlers. Tir Obesk can also create acid. (This too)
Jut obesk have small pointy receptors which resemble stereotypical devil horns.
Vel obesk have spiral receptors which resemble ram horns.
Kiv obesk have receptors like ram horns.

Corru is an alien metal from the planet obeski, and it can be used to make corrucysts, which are the basis of corrucystic technology; a kind of tech that uses thoughts rather than electricity.

A qou obesk is an obesk that has uploaded his or her brain to a mindcore; a corrucyst that can contain a mind. Mindcores are plugged into bodies made of corru, and while said bodies are usually very different than larval bodies (bodies of obesk who aren't qou), Delta's qou-body is very similar to his larval body.

A dull heart is a corrucystic device that can grasp the dull plane in order to move around. (The dull is another dimension, basically. Dull tech can do a lot of different things...) Idk exactly how dull hearts work in corru.observer, so within my RP characters' lore, I've decided that they work using corrucystic tentacles within the dull plane.

For more info, I recommend going to corru.wiki to read more about the obesk.

Four major factions:

Upon destroying the chains of gravity and emerging from their home planet, the Human race has since become a dominant player on the Galactic chess board, gaining resources, power, land and considerable wealth. However, once several factions within human society began revealing against the government that set them on this path, and some wanting to exploit alien races humanity found along the way, the Republic was formed with a staunch set of laws and put into place. Eventually, many alien species joined the Republic, considering themselves citizens. Due to their morals and just laws coming in between them and most wealth available in the galaxy, their military is often spread thin trying to defend merchants and their core worlds from space pirates, slavers and other factions, and have since made a Militia so any member of their citizens may join the fight to uphold justice and freedom in the Galaxy.

Pros:

Good morals.
Scattered worlds mean easy access to a friendly planet or space stations.
Help is always a distress beacon away.
Hit and run tactics are what most of the Navy prefers, but is able to mount a destructive offence and a staunch defense with the use of Dreadnought class ships.

Cons:

Rather weak and doesn't have many resources.
Slow to prepare large scale offenses or defenses.
Corruption and blind eyes seem to be prevalent when the Republic faces a wealthy adversary.

A wealthy group of alien races who discovered the lucrative business of keeping others from resources. They have taken the center of the Galaxy for themselves, harnessing the power of black holes to fuel their ships and cities, and ensuring they are always out for number one.
They disguise slavery by calling it 'reeducation' and 'integration', essentially using the local population of a recently colonised planet as cheap labor, extending a forceful and devilishly convincing invitation into their civilisation.

Pros:

Money and power.
Central of the Galaxy means it's influencial and in control of the majority of space trade routes.
Can send powerful fleets to deal with anything regarded as a threat.

Cons:

Dubious morals at best.
Cutthroat and heartless members willing to stab you in the back for cents, meaning trust is near impossible to give. Everything is business, including love.
Their members are most likely to be raided if their ships aren't protected adequately, and even then, is still a prime target for more well equipped pirates or those with vendettas against the wealthy. Their always a target, innocent or guilty.

A group of aliens and humans who enforce their own kind of law. A dictatorship that values peace through power and oppression rather than justice and freedom. They are ruthless yet well equipped, maintaining power through their military throughout the Mid rim of the Galaxy and constantly supplying mercenaries to any faction willing to pay the most.

Pros:
Large and powerful military.
Swift re-enforcements if trouble appears.
Jobs are easy to get.

Cons:

Trust is none existent unless a member of this faction risks their neck for someone else.
Most people fear this faction, and are suspicious if not outright hostile to it's members.
Almost always at war with either a planet wide revolution or another faction.

Pirates, smugglers, (am I allowed to mention illicit substances on this website?) murderers and outlaws.
All around bad guys; they mostly live on the Outer Rim of the Galaxy, plundering and pillaging any civilization in range of their ship's thrusters and cannons. They are known to seep in between the cracks of less defended factions and wreck havoc on innocents, kidnapping able bodies individuals for slave labor or ransom.

Pros:
Space Pirates.
Swift hit and run ships.
Galactic wide reputation and reach.

Cons:

All of its members are wanted dead or alive, and when caught, are sentenced to life in prison or execution.
Most members haven't had decent education, so any plans of attack on a target, be they planet side or in space, often ends in failure.
Almost all of the faction's members are only put for themselves and won't hesitate to stab you in the back.

An extra galactic Empire built on conquest and war. Their original home planet was harsh, forcing the inhabitants to extreme measures in order to survive. The Reapers, as most other civilizations know them as, have incorporated machinery into the organic lifeforms. At first, most were made to be Cyborgs. Then, as they reached their first solar system that wasn't their own, they forcefully evolved their own lifeforms to be more metal and wires than flesh. They have been living off of the ideal that conquest is the only way to make a life in this reality, and have been relentlessly conquering every Galaxy they come across to use their organic inhabitants to join their metallic armada, using knowledge and resources gained from the destruction of others to further their own Empire.

Their Empire is split into country like factions, each having their own identity, way of life, culture and fleet. Sometimes, when countries bicker, the entire civilization takes an interest into the bickering parties and weighs the most beneficial outcome, and act accordingly.

Their individual members are varied creatures. Standard features include angular bodies, sharp vectors, hard edges and flat surfaces.

Most physically able individuals, fighters and soldiers, are bipedal. However, their arms and legs are able to split into two limbs, meaning each four limbed creature may act with eight. Their torsos are square when faced from the front, but from the side, each torso is triangular with the shape edges facing out. This acts as natural armour against projectile weapons. Their long necks are covered in metallic scales, ensuring freedom of movement while also offering stout protection from both slashing and bludgeoning attacks. Their heads are angular, and vary in shape but most may have diamond like heads, while some may have more snouted or flat faces. May vary between ethnicities.

Those with less active occupations may find themselves with numerous limbs, but less center mass to manoeuvre said limbs. These navigators and stratigests may be seen with up to six arms with seven fingers on each hand, stubby legs unfit for active motion, and small torsos without rib cages. They aren't physical active and easily slain if faced with physical opposition, but are cunning and able to act unparalleled with machinery. Their heads are also donut like, since their brains are infused with computer chips, they overheat. Once these stratigests have a brain overheat, they cycle the hot air into the hollow tunnel and make it superheated sometimes, also being able to be utilized as a last ditch effort of offense. They can often be found with ice packs in their heads, and are most comfortable on ice worlds.

In the year 2076, British laws became overbearing to Northern Ireland, inciting Southern Ireland to completely liberate their northern island, and have been at war with England since.
In the British invasion of 2133, the Irish nearly lost their homeland to English blood, but succeeded in pursading other countries to assault the British Isles. What followed was intercontinental war for territory. In this war was the time the first outer solar system voyage. The Irish people took this opportunity to migrate to mars, various asteroids, and further into the stars. In the early centuries of extra terrestrial travel, it was commonplace to see an Irishman at a job demanding heavy labour or dangerous work.
To this day, the Irish and English are in a state of mutual mistrust and bitterness.
(Totally not an excuse to put in Irish rebel music for a few space battles.)

Spanish spacers, upon learning that there is intelligent life outside the Sol system, immediately began gathering riches and equipment to win the space race to colonize for power, resources and control. They posed as missionaries, aiming to spread Christianity to gain support from the rest of the world, but those who were sincere in their mission to spread the Gospel were quickly betrayed by the power hungry and greedy. This led to a certain faction of Spaniards, Irishmen, British, American, Afrikaans, Brazilian, Nepali and more ethical groups to join together and form the first ever pirate fleet to rebel against the corruption the then modern governments.
Along the way, many alien races abused by the corrupt human governments joined this rebel faction, starting the first meeting of the Republic of Terra.
(Convenient excuse for me to play Tortuga when the party reaches a backwater world and I would like to start a bar fight.)

British men and women who saw the corruption of the world at the time of great expansion, were disgusted by the state of their respective authorities and how they abused the people they were sworn to care for, manipulated the government, becoming part of the forming world order to take power for themselves. This time, when they had gathered enough resources and power, broke off from the original corrupt government, joining the initial group of the Republic of Terra and becoming the forefront of their army. In this time, they also sabotaged the English forces on the Irish front, leading to the British losing the war for the invasion of Ireland.
The British Crusaders helped colonize the majority of the mid rim of the Milky Way Galaxy, unintentionally pathing the way for the Galactic Federation to take control.

An elite team of space farers sent from their homeland, China, to assist the Global world order to explore the Galaxy and make homeworlds. Their operation was more shadowy, unknown to the majority of humanity and any alien race they encountered rarely found any evidence of their existence.
Dragons, being rare and a title of incredible honour, only the absolute best of the best could become a dragon to pilot the stat of the art spacecraft designed for interstellar travel. Most were trained since birth, and at adolescents were given the option to further pursue this life of challenge, conquest and adventure, or become a civilian, to live among other humans peacefully.

In the midst of the rising powers, Americans continued to struggle amongst themselves. In the initial years of the World Order's Globalization, America was divided on wether to join or whether to remain independent. However, as American spies and foreign whistleblowers gained and distributed the truth of what was actually happening in the other parts of the world where the One World Order was in control, Americans united to stand against the force that would see them oppressed and their culture and rights erased. America led the independent nations to stand against the One World Order's overbearing rule, funded many rebellions and fought smaller countries than were on the knife's edge of joining the One World Order. America denied the One World Order for as long as Humanity stayed on Earth, and took to he stars alongside the free and independent nations, gaining superiority in space before the One World Order could launch first.

In the treaty of 2300, the governments of planet earth decided to erase the borders of their countries, put predujece aside, and unite the world under one collective banner. Cool in concept, batshyte terrible in execution.
Manipulation, loopholes, mass genocide, exploitation, slavery, and many more ailments of oppression were commonplace in the lands where the country government submitted under the one banner. The working class people were effectively told to slave their lives away for the rich, and the poor were told they can receive a good portion of the working class's wages.
The One World Order turned into a dictatorship within a venture of its formation. The countries and governments that chose to remain independent, namely America, Ireland, China, Poland, Nepal, and more frequently faced invasion, pressure to join, and make their people suffer for the betterment of the 'human race'. Later, this World Order turned its powerful eyes to the stars and ventured forth, becoming the Galactic Federation.

Being part of Planet - 8,576 (of the 9,784 planets in the region he was born), Jones was quite poor, and had to take a job when he was only seven months old. From that time until now, he has engineered and piloted many hot air balloons. His only real secret is that he has a body of wires and metal under is flesh and bones, but this is information he cannot reveal to stay alive. He has made no real friends, but has many online.
Abilities: Poison-Resistant Tooth, Portal-Opening (opening one consumes his life force, which basically puts him in a coma for a few months).

This is my first OC, so I might add a lot more stuff if I end up making more OC's or expanding on the world I've made.
Full Name: Mossel (WIP, I'm terrible with names)
Nickname: Mosso
Gender/Pronouns: He/him
Attraction: Bicurious
Age: Around 30, unsure
Height: 5'3" normally, 6'4" when not in comfortable slouch and crouch (I.e. taller than they look)
Weight: ~55 lbs.
Personality (What are their character traits?): Autistic, nervous, shy, passionate, sleepy
Physical Description (What do they look like? Either use words or an image.): View attachment 496797
This was my reference image and a huge part of my inspiration, the Moss is more of a cloak and much darker, as well as reaching all the way down to the ground. His face is also shadowed and glowing dark blue eyes stare out from within. He has small, partially transparent, bug-like wings on his back that he can use for small bursts of flight. The body underneath is hard to see, but described as being a kind of oak brown, with root-like feet.
Equipment (What do they have on them? A sword? Armor?): The Moss cloak looks like clothing, but is actually attached to them. He takes very good care of his cloak, it's important to him. It functions as warmth and can grow and shift to some degree, he especially loves using it as a blanket and pillow. (He loves sharing, and snuggles in general) Somewhere in the cloak is his blade, named the Stinging Nettle. It resembles a long, thin thorn from a plant, and is very light. Its tip secretes a chemical that causes struck creatures to feel very cold and itchy in the affected area, the only cure is touching his cloak when he wants you to.
Abilities (What can they do? Can they shoot fire? Expertly use a blade?): Some skill with the Stinging Nettle, as well as very high agility. He is capable of small bursts of flight and squeezing himself smaller to dodge many things, but is quite fragile when actually hit. He is a decent survivalist as well. Part plant, and can thus take root and/or perform photosynthesis to gain energy. Very good at curating plants.
Strengths (What are they good at? Are they powerful spellcasters? Are they good motivational speakers?): Good at quick simple math and problem solving. Has a knack for comforting those struggling mentally and emotionally. Good at thinking outside the box and coming up with strange but worth trying solutions.
Flaws: (What are they bad at? Are they physically weak? Are they easy to emotionally manipulate?): Fragile physically. Procrastinator. Likes sleeping in, but has a very hard time going to sleep. Sometimes he becomes emotionally unstable and retreats into a sort of shell. Socially awkward and has a bad habit of saying what they think without considering how others will respond.
Backstory (What was their life like before this? What led up to this?): Lived on a high plant density planet, somewhat resembling Greenpath and Queen's Gardens. Lived a somewhat normal childhood, but was unsure of the passage of time due to the dense plant cover, and is thus unsure of his exact age. Most people around him weren't appreciative of or accommodating of his autism, and he (legally, with full knowledge of his family) left at 16 with a cargo ship. Spent a long time wandering major planets trying to find somewhere he fit in.
Text Color (What Hex Code with you be writing with to identify the character?): #4a5d23 (dark Moss green)
Occupation (Eg navigator, pilot, gunner, quartermaster, engineer, medic, translator, scientist, marine, soldier, mechanic, ect): Onboard botanist/comedic relief/stowawayI mean helpful passenger
Faction (out of any of the four above, a custom faction you make up yourself or none): The hell is a faction? I literally lived in a cave for my whole childhood
Extras (Anything you want to add that doesn't fit into the other categories?): This character was visually inspired by various fanart i've seen and my personal in-game encounters with the various mossy enemies in Hollow Knight. His personality was directly inspired by me, with some aspects slightly altered to make him funnier to roleplay. His backstory was written because I am tired of overly tragic backstories, but there had to be something interesting. Also extremely loosely based on my experience with autism.
Name: Messor - Messor

Nicknames (Optional): M2, MM

Gender: Male

Occupation: Inner Guard (Previously)

Faction: Reapers

Text Color: 7C706B

Appearance:

Untitled328_20250915004348.png

A lanky, thin, narrow machine. His right side and legs are mostly intact, though his left arm, is missing one of its sub-arms, only allowing the machine to unfurl a maximum of three arms. His neck and head have received moderate damage, one orange, literally burning lens still intact. His armor plating is a dull, bronzy-grey, partially rusted and relatively brittle. The exposed machinery within is a dark, almost blackish navy, though still metallic.

Personality: Of very few words. Cold. Somber.

Equipment (Optional):

An old, token-like disk stored within his frame. Lacking any and all equipment otherwise.

Theme (Optional):

Backstory (Optional): A bodyguard formerly of the Kova-Kaal, an inner ring of Reapers not bound by subgroups or political interest. They held power in the most literal sense, control. Think of them like.. a shadow government, perhaps. Existing for thousands of years, the Kova-Kaal was abruptly disbanded, or more aptly, executed, as the nation of Yuva launched an all-out assault on the orbital station Kovus, the base of operations for the Kova-Kaal.

In the siege on Kovus, M2 was one of the first to be lost. An Inner Guard to one of the national councilors, he dismantled many hostile Yuvinian machines before being damaged, flung out of an airlock and into the cold, void of space. He lost internal fluid pressure within minutes, going offline within the system hour.. and waking up many.. many.... many.. years later, jostled about in a storage crate, the motion shaking loose the ice in his steel veins.

Abilities:

Excellent combatant and tactician. Able to weaponize damn near anything he can get his claws on. Some records say he eliminated 3 Galactic Federation Juggernauts with a digital writing apparatus..

Boasts superhuman strength, agility, speed, durability, and reaction time.

Able to heat his hands to thousands of degrees. A good combat option in a pinch, though it takes some uptime. The heat accumulation can be fired off in small, but blazing hot pulses of plasma.

Strengths:

Master of close ranged combat. Able to control most combat scenarios in, and when, he has the resources and weapons to get the drop on his opponents.

Height:

6'8.

Weight:

410 pounds.

Exploitable flaws:

Lacks any gear, weapons, or extra armor to begin with. Missing one of his sub-arms, two others cannot be heated. Very battle worn and dated. It's hard to get replacement parts when your model has been out of circulation for... uhm. A long.. long while.

Extras (Optional): I just watched the entire John Wick franchise this week.. I couldn't help myself.
Name: Cream Starlight
Representative Star: Astrefelica Beta
Pseudonym: Lin Xueqing
Nicknames: Kitty, Starlight
Species: Human <=> Cat Thiren <=> Cat; Star/Starling
Occupations: (Formerly) hollow agent; (formerly) a self-employed restaurant owner; indie game developer; nanomachine researcher; starfarer
Faction: StarryNight Studio, aligned with Republic of Terra
Text Indentification: #70acef (human, cat, cat thiren); #00ffff (Astrefelica, Stargazer)
Appearance: I will send it later; for now assume Xueqing has grown up a bit and has a navy blue scarf around her neck.
Personality: Usually kind, can be very caring to those she recognize as her friend. When she needs to pretend, she can hide her emotion very well; for the rest of the time she shows her mood pretty easily. Outspoken, but will try to indirectly say something if she feels like it's necessary. Seldom breaks a promise. Serious with serious business.
Backstory: She once lived on a planet where she experienced a lot of pain but also made a lot of friends. A war happened while she was 9, and she couldn't get it out of her mind. When she was 17, the planet had a crisis, and the Ether Hollow was spreading everywhere. By a last ditch decision, she stole a local spaceship and carried the ones she could rescue along with it and left the planet. Whilst on her space voyage, she has learnt about her starry ability more. Recently, she had a bit of trouble - her ship was hijacked, and she was hit unconscious before she could even fight back, and when she woke up... she was then here.
Equipment:

Her ol' trusty umbrella that can expand into a tent or shrink in size. Due to its materials, it's nigh impossible to break it by brute force.
The nano-rope she made for herself, which can extend to and reach / grab an object 100 meters away. Can also be used as a means of transportation.

Ability:

Stargazer Metamorphosis, grants her 33% damage resistance and increase her combat rolls (attack power, attack accuracy and evasion) respectively by +5, +3 and +3.
Tension Points. Currently locked.
Can morph into a cat thiren or a cat at will. Can shift to her Astrefelica form (without power boost).

Strength:

Superhuman strength. Can lift up to one ton.
Careful inspection. +2 to Perception.
While in her cat form, her stealth roll has a flat increase of +3. However, she also receives less defense.
Familiar with coding, she can hack pretty easily. You can rely on her on bug fixes.

Height / Weight: 169 cm / 55 kg
Exploitable flaws:

Her memories of war haunts her when you mention huge wars.
Cat form, self explanatory.
She has a heart condition which will cause her a heart attack if you scare her badly. Fortunately, she has a pacemaker in her.
Name: Karzak Kliza
Nicknames (Optional): Click, Snapper
Gender: male
Species: Maronisan (lizardfolk)
Occupation: Gunner/Quartermaster/Space Marine.
Faction: Terra Republic
Text Color: 2F8F8F
Appearance: (it's gonna be hard to disprove the scalie accusations) Standing at 6'2, Karzak is a natural born solder, with an athletic physique, and flexible body. His head is elongated, giving him a dragon like reptilian snout. His body is covered in tough green scales, acting as natural armour. He has quills like hair that appear as a short mohawk on the center of his head going down to his middle back.
He wears a scruffy jacket and dark blue trousers with a garter belt suited to hold a pistol holster, which is also on his thigh.
IMG20250911115547.jpg

IMG20250911113437.jpg

(Based on Trust from Destiny 2)
Personality: Carefree, remorseful, selfless, naive.
Equipment (Optional): a sleek long barreled kinetic revolver that holds 14 rounds.
Theme (Optional):
Backstory (Optional): As a boy, he grew up on a backwater planet to lizardfolk hillbillies. When he grew up, he joined the space marines of the Galactic Malitia to combat slavery, a problem his race has unfortunately been subjected to and participates in for quite some time in the galaxy's history. Recently, his squad was ambushed while their combat freighter was heading towards a distress call, and has been captured by the very slavers he sought to combat. Since he is officially MIA, he sees himself as an outlaw in the eyes of all major factions.
Abilities: Heavy weapon handling, turret control, loading broadsides, targeting, handling equipment, basic first aid.
Strengths: Strength, weapons, athletics, working with people.
Height: 6'2
Weight: 130 Ilbs
Exploitable flaws: Karzak is pretty naive, willing to believe people of they say they have nothing but the best of intentions. He doesn't take loss very well and is prone to get emotional if asked about his deceased squadmates. He is a proud Maronisan so if you insult him by mentioning how Maronisans are one of the most targeted victims on a Galactic scale, he is prone to get upset.
Extras (Optional): his sister is a medic and was on the ship that was ambushed. He doesn't know if she's alive and is searching for her.
Post in thread 'The Bar for Celestial Outlaws'
Name: Delta Qou Heart
Nicknames (Optional):
Gender: Male
Occupation (Eg navigator, pilot, gunner, quartermaster, engineer, medic, translator, scientist, marine, soldier, mechanic, ect): Engineer.
Faction (out of any of the four above, a custom faction you make up yourself or none): The Republic of Terra. He's from Obeski, which established diplomatic ties with Earth in the 203rd decade, mysteriously left after a few decades, and joined the Republic of Terra once it was formed.
Text Color: #ffff00, in Georgia font.
Appearance: He's a jut qou, so he is capable of using many different bodies. However, he refuses to use any but one; his current one. It's very similar to his larval form, though that larval nostalgia is actually a red herring; the true reason he only uses one body is because he doesn't want anyone to see his mindcore. More info on that will be in Abilities. Delta's body, while it is reminiscent of his larval form, also has a few other oddities. The eyes' glow can be adjusted, and pale corru is in some places; triangles on the palms of the hands, a triangle on his back, and a triangle on his chest.
Personality: Kinda paranoid, and slightly insane. Can be absent-minded at times, and takes a long time to trust anyone.
Equipment (Optional): A dead-metal weapon which attaches to his right arm and connects to his right receptor via corrucystic wire. This weapon has a dull component inside of it which condenses dull energy and fires it out of the weapon in small conical blasts similar to bright dead-metal gun bullets. He also has an electricity-thought conversion cable that he usually keeps attached to his left receptor. In addition, he has four dull microconnector halves; two large ones, and two small ones. All four of them are hidden in plain sight; they're the aforementioned pale corru triangles.
Theme (Optional):
Backstory (Optional):
Abilities: The dull microconnector halves on his back, chest, and hands can detach from their locations and fly around to some extent. However, they are useful for only one thing. His mindcore is secretly also a miniature Dull Heart. He can grasp the dull plane with its tendrils, and move around by doing so. He can also send them through the aforementioned microconnector halves in order to use them outside the dull. Strengths: Powerful in microgravity, and where the dull plane is especially thick.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: On Earth, somewhere between 100 and 200 pounds. However, he doesn't like having his weight measured.
Exploitable flaws: Refuses to use his full power in the presence of those who don't know of it, unless absolutely necessary.
Extras (Optional): This OC was partially inspired by Nori from Murder Drones.

Now then, this is the OOC thread, and as of 14th September 2025, you may notice there isn't another IC thread. Any and all who are interested in joining the RP are more than welcome to, I'd like to make a 'session zero' to get everything ready before posting the IC thread.

I'm going to stop putting the character descriptions in the original post as I have a feeling the sheer amount of text is going to cause a few problems, so I'll just attach links to the applicants following the original six with character descriptions.

Now that you're all caught up on the basic information in the galaxy, go out there and blast some space pirates! Board the ship and escape in the IC Thread!

Is this purely sci-fi or magic-element-tolerable? Don't worry, either way I'm prepared.

The majority of it is sci-fi, but Magic and fantastical elements are present and welcome.

Name: Cream Starlight
Representative Star: Astrefelica Beta
Pseudonym: Lin Xueqing
Nicknames: Kitty, Starlight
Gender: Female
Species: Human <=> Cat Thiren <=> Cat; Star/Starling
Occupations: (Formerly) hollow agent; (formerly) a self-employed restaurant owner; indie game developer; nanomachine researcher; starfarer
Faction: StarryNight Studio, aligned with Republic of Terra
Text Indentification: #70acef (human, cat, cat thiren); #00ffff (Astrefelica, Stargazer)
Appearance:
  • Human: A slightly tall 19-year-old girl with shoulder-length brown hair and navy blue eye. Wears a white T-shirt with its collar being sky blue and has some green text on the chest: " >hello, world._ " Her trousers are long, but due to the inconvenience caused, she manually shortened it by folding it. Also has white-bottomed pink sneakers, white socks, and a sea-blue scarf that Riv gifted her.
  • Cat Thiren: Same as above, but her human ear disappears. You will see brown cat ears (and the white fur in it) poking out of her hair, and that her hair becomes more fluffy. She also grows a brown tail with a white tip.
  • Cat: A small brown cat with white paws, white tail-tip and blue eyes. Doesn't have her clothes on.
  • Stargazer: Astral particles emits beside her, and you can see her eyes glowing bright cyan. Her hair also becomes cyan, like super saiyan but Hyper Sonic.
  • Astrefelica: A slightly tall 21-year-old-looking girl with waist-length cyan hair and bright cyan eyes. Her dress's background color is space dark blue, with cyan and yellow dots resembling stars moving around, YES, they're motive. On the center, there is a cyan star with four angles. Her sneakers are none-existent in this form. Has a cyan band on each of her wrists.
Equipment:
  1. Her ol' trusty umbrella that can expand into a tent or shrink in size. Due to its materials, it's nigh impossible to break it by brute force.
  2. The nano-rope she made for herself, which can extend to and reach / grab an object 100 meters away. Can also be used as a means of transportation.
Ability:
  1. Stargazer Metamorphosis, grants her 33% damage resistance and increase her combat rolls (attack power, attack accuracy and evasion) respectively by +5, +3 and +3 for a limited time of 8 posts. (Can be paused midway.) If she exhausts her energy this way, she needs a bit to rest, usually taking around 8 or 16 pages.
  2. Tension Points. Currently locked.
  3. Can morph into a cat thiren or a cat at will. Can shift to her Astrefelica form (without power boost).
  4. She's a magic user that mainly goes with water, ice, fire and light, but she can also do thunder and wind if she needs so, she's just a bit less familiar with them.
Strength:
  1. Superhuman strength. Can lift up to one ton.
  2. Careful inspection. +2 to Perception.
  3. While in her cat form, her stealth roll has a flat increase of +3. However, she also receives less defense.
  4. Familiar with coding, she can hack pretty easily. You can rely on her on bug fixes.
Height / Weight: 169 cm / 55 kg
Exploitable flaws:
  1. Her memories of war haunts her when you mention huge wars.
  2. Cat form, self explanatory.
  3. She has a heart condition which will cause her a heart attack if you scare her badly. Fortunately, she has a pacemaker in her.
  4. She can risk her life for her friends' life.
Extra: Welp.

Edit: The original version is flawed; I made it more complete.

The spoiler for Reapers is broken.

Here's my character submission:
Name: Run Qou Vaznirces
Nicknames (Optional): ∆, Delta Qou Heart
Gender: Male
Occupation (Eg navigator, pilot, gunner, quartermaster, engineer, medic, translator, scientist, marine, soldier, mechanic, ect): Engineer.
Faction (out of any of the four above, a custom faction you make up yourself or none): The Republic of Terra. He's from Obeski, which established diplomatic ties with Earth in the 203rd decade, mysteriously left after a few decades, and joined the Republic of Terra once it was formed.
Text Color: #ffff00.
Appearance: He's a jut qou, so he is capable of using many different bodies. However, he currently only has one; his current one, and It's somewhat similar to his larval form, though that larval nostalgia is actually mostly coincidental.
Delta's body, while it is reminiscent of his larval form, also has a few other oddities. The eyes' glow can be adjusted, and pale corru is in some places; triangles on the palms of the hands, a triangle on his back, and a triangle on his chest.
Personality: Kinda paranoid, and usually pretends to be slightly insane.
It also involves a few dead metal components to improve the ballistics of the projectile.
He also has an electricity-thought conversion cable that he usually keeps attached to his left receptor.
In addition, he has four dull microtunnel halves; two large ones, and two small ones. All four of them are hidden in plain sight; they're the aforementioned pale corru triangles.
Theme (Optional):
Backstory (Optional):
Abilities:
The dull microconnector halves on his back, chest, and hands can detach from their locations and fly around to some extent. However, they are useful for only one thing.
His mindcore is secretly also a miniature Dull Heart. He can grasp the dull plane with its tendrils, and move around by doing so. He can also send them through the aforementioned microtunnel halves in order to use them outside the dull.
EDIT: I just realized that they can also be used to look through the dull. This is detrimental to his vision, however; dull sight will temporarily reduce the effectiveness of his normal sight.
Extras (Optional): This OC's abilities were partially inspired by Nori from Murder Drones.

I'll update it when I've got the time to do so.

I am interested
I will decide on an OC to plop in

Welcome! The character sheet is there, so fill it out with the details of your character and submit it!

The character info has now completed.
Also, you might want to, instead of copying pure text into the first post, use
1758002441816.png
or
1758002469812.png
for more convenient or time-saving method.

Some additional races anyone interested in making a character and would like some inspiration:

*Dancing in default dance*
<Geopelia Birdie> Oh, heya
Geopelia?
Yeah it's me, how have you been doing Xueqing?
Just fine. Waiting is boring though.
Ehh, the amount of people kinda limits the kinetic of starting process.
i know right???

So I just fill out the character sheet and wait for enough OC's to be made?

So I just fill out the character sheet and wait for enough OC's to be made?
Yup!
For the ability/strength/flaws/extra you can just go creative mode as long as they aren't too OP. (My personal limit here is to not surpass Xueqing by more than 50%)

Is there any specific species I have to make them? Like does my OC have to be a human, or can they be anything else?

Yes, you may fill out the character sheet and post your character. I will review it and accept it as it fulfills the requirements. We shall only begin the RP later.
