Portfolio/Multi-Topic The CONSUMED Biome, and Space Rocks! :D (With a side of END GAME!)

Hi all, I have a couple of ideas that I feel could work well for Terraria, both story-wise, and to further the gameplay!

The CONSUMED Biome_______

|Biome looks/area| The Consumed Biome is a biome that is a city like area, that has been taken over by the Crimson/Corruption. It spawns in either one of them (depends as to what one you have in your world, as expected) and it creates buildings that would look as if they were from the present day, with a city that has been, CONSUMED, by the Crimson/Corruption.

|Mobs| You can find certain mobs such as Consumed Zombies (pre-hardmode), Consumed Skeletons (pre-Plantera, equipped with knives, bats, etc.), and Consumed Soldiers (post-Plantera, these are the same as the dungeon soldiers only made to fit the biome).

|Underground| The underground will have a standard Crimson/Corruption cave, and a series of caves like in the underground jungle (accessible pre-hardmode) but also a mineshaft which you access with an elevator. To get the elevator working, you need to turn on a generator, to get the key to start the generator, you must kill the AI guarding it. (Yes I know, this gets a little bit of inspiration from portal :p. On a side note, the AI place thingy is only accessible post-Plantera, the AI kills you instantly with a sniper bullet that completely penetrates all armor and does 10000 damage :3)

|Boss| When you enter the AI's lair thingy, the AI will start to fill the room with a poisonous gas (Just maybe a deadly neurotoxin? And just maybe released by an AI with the name of GLaDOS? :3), and seal up the room, you only have a certain amount of time to get through a few trap filled rooms, and finally kill the giant robot thing which holds the AI. Once you get the AI down a certain health, the gas stops, and the AI starts attacking you with turrets that fire bullets, rockets, grenades and mines. You have to kill the main robot in order to have defeated the boss, but killing all of the turrets makes the robot change form into it's own killing machine, which attempts to kill you itself, with a variety of weapons.

|Boss Reward| Once you kill the AI, you get access codes, and a generator key. The access codes item is similar to the temple key, only you can't kill the AI multiple times. You can use the access codes for either the dungeon down the mineshaft, or you can use the access codes for the space rocks.

|Dungeon| Down the mineshaft, there is some more cavey area, but there is also a vault if you explore more. To access the Vault, you must use the access keys The vault is similar to the Lihzard temple, only it is filled with people, and has three floors. At the first floor (The floor you first enter) it has the Consumed Mobs mentioned above. On the second floor, you have hostile normal humans who attempt to kill you (Like most things in Terraria :p) but once you get to the third floor, you find normal people who are scared.

|NPC| You can speak to their leader who becomes an NPC who lives with you, and you can create another place for all of the vault people to stay (Doesn't have to be a proper room, just have a giant room filled with vault beds and lights :p) She sells you items which can help you craft endgame items/weapons.

Space Rocks______

|Location| The space rocks are located at the very top of the world, in space. You have to use wings to jump from a sky island in order to reach them (Hopefully space can be heightened a tiny bit more for this idea :3)

|How to reach them| As previously stated, you use wings to get to them, but there is no top, you can only see/reach the bottom half of it, so you have to use a grappling hook to stay with the rocks.

|Amount of rocks| There are four rocks in total, three rather small rocks, and one bigger one.

|Small rocks properties/function| (as you can see, I'm trying to stop giant blobs of text :p) The small rocks have a special ore inside of them, which can only be mined with a Drax, it is called "Cuflite" and when you hover your mouse over it in the inventory, it says, "The only thing as strong as Cthulhu"

|Bigger rock properties/function| The bigger rock has no ore, but has a room inside of it made up of metal. Inside that room, is a blood red magical orb thing that is massive in size, as you can only see a tiny bit of it, and a chest which contains a Cuflite Hammer.

|Cuflite's function| Cuflite is the most end game ore in existence, and has to be combined with various items that the vault leader NPC sells. The Cuflite Hammer's function is provided to destroy the orb at the very top of the room.

|Cuflite Guns| You use "Broken Legends Arsenal", and combine it with the Cuflite in order to make one of three different end game fire arms, the Souls of Might with the other two materials to create the "D3STRUCT0R" which is an end game rocket launcher, with a :red:ed amount of damage and velocity, and can fire multiple rockets per second. (Devs figure out all of the exact numbers for balance :p) The souls of sight create the "MACH1NA" which is an end game sniper rifle, which does an extremely :red:ed amount of damage and velocity, yet can only fire every 2 seconds. And the souls of Fright with some shark fins create the "U WOT M8" which is an endgame minigun, with a :red:ed amount of damage, velocity and speed, and is essentially a shark with a minigun sticking out of it. Now you understand the name of that gun :p.

|Cuflite Tools| You use the "Broken Legends Tool Set" to craft the three different tools. The souls of Might are used to create the "Digger of Digging" which is the best drill in the game with a pickaxe power of infinite. The souls of Sight are used to make the "Anti-Tree" which can cut any tree down instantly, and has an axe power of infinite as well. And the souls of Fright are used to create the "BONK" which is the best hammer in the game, again, it has a hammer power of infinite and can destroy any bit of wall instantly, and can replace underground walls without the need of having to destroy all of the other walls above.

|Cuflite Sword| You use the "Broken Legends Sword" with 10 of each of the three boss souls to create the "Bound Sword" which is the best sword in the game, (again, devs figure out exact numbers for balance) it has the most damage and speed and also fires a purple sword that can go through multiple blocks. It is also an auto swing sword.

|Cuflite Repeater| You use the "Broken Legends Bow" with souls of Sight to create the "Dragon Slayer" (Reference to the Hobbit :P) it is yet again, the best repeater in the game.

|How to summon boss| You have to destroy the blood red orb in the bigger space rock, and this will summon the end game boss. You will be met with the message "Nothing will be the same after this..." upon destroying the orb.

|Boss| The boss, is Cthulhu himself. Bits of him (Such as multiple eyes of Cthulhu, a brain of Cthulhu, limbs, etc.) all fly from different parts of the map, and come together to make Cthulhu near the spawn. Once he has been fully created, all of the vault people will come out from where they are (the amount of time it takes for them to get to you depends on where they are) and they will help you to attempt to kill Cthulhu. Each of his limbs has its own health and each can be killed individually, but you only need to kill the brain after it gets exposed. To expose the brain, you will need to kill all of the tentacles around where his mouth should be (He's usually depicted with tentacles around the mouth area) and that will expose the brain. Once you kill the brain, Cthulhu will stop entirely, lights will shine out of him and from the sky, and Cthulhu will explode spreading crimson all over the land that you killed him in.

|Reward| You get a :red:ed amount of money from Cthulhu, as well as the gate key. You use the gate key, to get to the land of the mythical, the gate is at either the top left or top right corner of the map.

|Post-Cthulhu| The world will forever be lit up, but will no longer have a sunny sky, but have the starry sky you see in space. Story-wise, the gate to the land of the mythical has re-opened, and more creatures are flooding into the world. You can either choose to close the gate using the key, preventing anything else from moving from one world to the other, or, you can enter the land of the mythical itself. New creatures (such as the ones you see come out of the gate) are there, but the entire world is just a bunch of large floating islands everywhere, making up the surface, underground, and the sky.

So, those were my ideas for the game to progress it further, and possibly add another world (saved in its own folder :P) which you can enter. Any more ideas to add onto this would be great and hopefully other people have some ideas for whats in the land of the mythical (creatures and items) and maybe some more bosses to defeat there. Go nuts! :D

Honestly, I kind of absolutely love this idea, especially since I'm in the boat that thinks Terraria takes place in a post-apocalyptic world after Cthulhu awoke and almost drove us to extinction. A few things thought

-Not a fan of any sword being stronger then the Terra Blade. Personally, I think you should have to combine the space ore with some sort of material found in the Purity to create a Purified Bar, therefor crafting other Terra themed items.

-Also not a big fan of the name of the ore, but its not horrible.

-The guns are amazing. UWOTM8

-Drax doesn't make too much sense, you should be able to use the Picksaw too, and anything else that's better then it.

-The Mythical isn't my favorite idea, but it could potentially be amazing if its expanded on.

Thanks for loving the idea! ^_^

I see how that could work. The problem is how quickly/easily I managed to get it, but I see where you're coming at!

When it comes to ores/mythical names, I'm terrible, just thought of something that somewhat relates to Cthulhu. :P

Gun names on the other hand. :P

Forgot the Picksaw existed. xD

I had it there for it to be expanded upon, I haven't got any ideas for it, but maybe tamable Wyverns with bosses for existing creatures could be cool. :D
