tModLoader The Enigma Mod

Hey, this mod is pretty neat! I just tried it out, and I really liked the way the two bosses functioned, but their sprites could definitely use some work (unless those are just placeholders). If you need people to help sprite, just ask on pretty much any spriting channel in any mods discord. You're bound to find someone who'll be willing to help. The items are pretty nicely sprited, so good work!
Indeed, those are just placeholders (Or at most, **very** early versions of the real sprites), so sprite help would be fantastic!
 
Would it be possible to change the Soul Stone bonus received from the King Slime, or change it into one of the ones where you choose a bonus? The boost to jumping is too extreme for me and often results in jumping clear past a platform I am aiming for, with me instead going to one above it.

I could make it that or increased Throwing Damage...

The soul sotne is broken , it serets its abilitios to jump and speed every time i reopen terraria , its really annoing fighting all the bosses againn.... and again.....

You don't need to fight the bosses again, you can craft Medallions using their expert accessories and just right click them! However, it shouldn't be resetting the effects... I will look into it. Thanks for the bug report!
 
I'm going to wait for this to update more, but it seems interesting.
 
Played a bit with Laugic and I can certainly say he has a lot of fun with projectiles. Probably too much fun, to be honest.

Overall good though :P

May I suggest an few things?

Add a Train cart (Don't judge me)
Tweak it so that Spirit, Thorium, and Calamity mods would also use crafting recipes that use the "Soul of Thought"
Make an "Steam Dart Launcher", "Steamworks LMG", "Cogwheel Compound Bow" and a "Heavy C.O.G." for Ranged weapons!

Change that "Candy Hallow" into a "SCP-217" styled Hallow, befitting the Enigma mod.

I'm working closely with the creator of Calamity, so perhaps we could add some cross-mod recipes. There are lots of other souls that Enigma adds besides Thought too. I am adding Calamity items in some recipes, so maybe Fabsol will add some Enigma ones. Can't say for sure though!
I'm planning to add a few more steampunk weapons, such as a Steamthrower (Steam version of the Flamethrower). Once I get some spriters on the team I will see if one of them can make Steamstring have gears to make it more fitting in the steampunk theme.
I don't think I'm actually going to make an alternate Hallow, as after looking into it, it would be crazy hard to do xD

I just gave this mod a try since I've been in love with the idea of equippable potions ever since I played around with Solidified Potions some time ago, so it's good to see something like that for the current version of tML. I have a concern about it though: I love the Thorium mod, but it's sad to see its Aquatic Depths biome completely destroy the obsidian biome added by this mod depending on your luck. Would it be possible to, instead of always generating your biome on the left side of the world, use the side that generates the dungeon? The Aquatic Depths always generate on the opposite side of it, so this way there would be no worldgen conflicts with that mod.

If I can find a way to achieve this, then I will look into it! However, an alternative may be that I make the obsidium biome generate all the way down the left side of the map. The reason I would do it this way is because it would lead straight to the Calamity biome in the Underworld, which could be pretty cool, and it would continue to generate under Aquatic Depths as that doesn't go nearly as far down.

I haven't download the mod yet, but it seems pretty cool.
But I think you need to fix the bosses' sprites, it isn't seems good.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet but where/how do you get a tasty morsel? Boss checklist says eat one for dune sharkron to appear and the only item called 'tasty mosel' is from this mod (laugicality)

It'd be nice to have some better directions ingame, for this. I spent like 3 hours trying to figure it out (was way past this when the mod updated) with no luck. I really appreciate pointing me in the right direction. :)

So, I just downloaded this Mod because I liked the idea of the Soul Stone - granting more effects as more bosses are slain.

However, I am not sure if it was some other mod or a recent update, but I don't know what the Fallen Star does for me and the Soul Stone now requires a Life Crystal and a Mana Crystal. It's strange...

I replicate it to try and get a new one, since my old one just reset the stats on me and offers me a +10% damage boost and +12 defense (and says my soul isn't bound to it). The new one does the same thing and says "your soul is not bound".

I'm not sure what did it, but I can't do anything with it for the time being. Would you have any idea what might have happened? Would you like for me to list the mods I am using?

Even the unique drops that come from bosses aren't a consumable to imbue the Soul Stone anymore...
