tModLoader The Galactic Mod Christmas Event

Spazmatism7

Plantera
Hello everyone! We’re getting into the Christmas time now and I wanted to do something for everyone this year.

I decided the best course of action was a Christmas Event for the Galactic Mod. Any one of you can submit something for the Galactic Mod, but instead of being a competition, everyone can get in.

There are some simple rules for this event:
  • Stay appropriate; no NSFW content
  • No NPCs (Town, Boss, or Enemy)
  • Stay simple unless you have the code
  • Limited to 2 entries per member
Exceptions
  • If you have code you may submit advanced or NPCs
  • If you are adding to another submission it still counts as one
Go wild

So we can design items and weapons and stuff?

Alright, hopefully I can find time in my schedule, unless I find something to use here in my spriting folders.

I’m gonna be boring af and post my ‘progress’ here LOL

I have a Simple idea.

(Use the smaller sprite for your mod.)

Item: Frost Star (or Winter Star)
Type: Throwing (Ranged 1.4) Weapon
Knockback: Around 4.5
Rarity: Blue
Recipes: (1x Fallen Star), (5x Ice Block)
Requires a water source nearby to craft.

Respriting is allowed if the current sprite is not of decent quality.
That's all! I hope my suggestion gets in!

Sorry for taking so long, I tried doing a pet item but lost my motivation after doing half of the item, also I tried making the projectile sprite but it turns out I can't sprite presents, so you'll probably have to do that yourself
Anyway...
Christmas Cutter

Damage, knockback, and all of that is something you can decide.
Tooltip: "Give enemies a very excutting holiday!" (I'm so sorry for the bad pun, I had to...)
Swinging it causes a present to fall from the sky which explodes upon hitting anything, spawning a random projectile from a list (which, like the damage and stuff, you can pick).
Recipe: Your choice, I can barely make good recipes myself...

Sorry, it took so long to respond, everyone. I just was unsure whether or not to do both.

I have a Simple idea.

The sprite is great. I'll make it tonight, but it won't be in the mod till the full release.

Shouldn't be too hard to make. I'll work on it tonight.

I'll just use the Santa-NK1 presents for the projectile.
