Weapons & Equip The Hand Cannon

This weapon tackles two things at once: how you need to venture into very hostile environments just to start gunner playthroughs, and how there aren't enough handguns in terraria. Weak stats, crafted just with some iron/lead bars and wood at an anvil.

Does it look like an actual hand? The classic 👉 but made out of wood except the pointer and thumb.

No, the hand cannon was one of the first types of guns ever made. It's like a handgun sized, stubby cannon built into a wooden handle

What does it shoot? Hands?

as a cosmetic
Like with the same materials, but called literal hand gun/cannon and having the gun being a finger gun and the bullets fists

I don't know. I think locking the Arms Dealer behind a bit of adventuring is a good idea. The Minishark is pretty powerful, after all, and the Sandgun is even stronger.

True. Maybe change the arms dealer move in to ignore the hand cannon? Though then there would need to be a mucket ball recipe, maybe iron or lead ingots

Uh, no, this probably wouldn't work because you'd then have an easy Minishark or even a Flintlock Gun once you craft it, unless it doesn't summon the Arms Merchant: See the idea.

Wow this is amazing. And the unique bullets and upgrade? Great!

And yes, hand cannon won't summon arms dealer.

Though copper and tin should make the same amount of bullets

Though copper and tin should make the same amount of bullets
And "Leaded" should be replaced with "Weighted" with the possibility of using iron instead

UPDATE: Hand Cannon and Conquista sprites (Early Concepts, might change later)

They don’t look like hands. I think playing into that joke is still viable.
I know. The hand cannon and handgun will shimmer into finger guns with those colors, so I don't really see a need to sprite that, nor do i see a need to sprite bullet recolors.
