Regnil scratched his head, he was unsure of how to go about this. "Honestly, I'm all out of ideas. This is really going to bug me for a while." He looked at the foot prints that didn't come from the direction of the giant tree. Since they now knew it was safe to cross the circle, he continued going in their original direction. "We were headed this way, hopefully we'll find signs of them travelling nearby." He pocketed the rock for now.

.....The barkeep described to Teresa a few drinks ((which I'm not creative enough to make up)), mostly alcoholic recommending them in order and describing what kind of flavor they had as best as he could.

----------
.....Uhlsrar would notice people of all types—sitting alone, trying to pick up a date, having serious discussions, or relaxing with friends—all in addition to the various workers serving the customers food and drink.

----------
.....The man smiled with only the corner of his mouth at Ruby's declaration of thanks. He attempted to be polite as more of the conversation transpired, clearly wanting to interrupt quite often yet restraining from doing so.

.....As soon as he had finished saying the word "connoisseur," the woman who had giggled repeated the word back at him as a question. "Connoisseur? Connoisseur of what?" She seemed generally interested where the other woman looked slightly bored as if this was a routine that she was bored of.

Ruby

Ruby wondered why the other woman would be bored, the only types he could think of whose job it was to speak with others like were escorts and conwomen. He hoped they were just normal people and that he was just thinking too much about minor details, but nevertheless paid more attention to his valuables than usual. "Arcana." He turned back to the slightly bored woman who had asked the question in the first place. "And what about you?" Ruby asked, he realized that she was probably the one who was least interested in talking, but it would be impolite to not ask back.

((Let's just handwave the ordering drink part for now.))

Teresa ordered what she thought best suited her tastes, and rested her staff against the counter.

After a few minutes had past and the bartender had returned, Teresa asked, "So, do you meet a lot of interesting people while working here?"

-- Scott --

"How disappointing," Scott muttered to himself following Regnil. He couldn't believe they where going to up and leave without figuring things out. Yet their was nothing else they could do so he followed behind hoping the temple they where headed to would be more straight forward.

-- Uhlsrar Zautyl --

The drow decided the easiest people to approach would be those alone. He walked over to one such table considering the best way to ask about what he needed without directly asking. Uhlsrar decided to start with a greeting first and foremost, "Hello, would you mind if I join you?"

There wasn't any reason for Francis to interrupt the gentleman or gentlewoman's day by initiating a purely pointless conversation with them. It'd ruin their day if they were much more introverted than Francis. However, Francis did have the plan to get the most out of life, despite his somewhat binding deal with the Raven Queen. Also, the monotony of walking, despite it not being too long into the morning, had already gotten to Francis.
So he ran towards the figure, hoping to say a quick hello and chat. His raven, perched on his shoulder, flapped its wings desperately to keep balanced, but with Francis' generally ungraceful running style, it was near impossible for the raven to keep perched on his shoulder to keep balanced, so the raven gave up and took flight, only landing once again on Francis' shoulder when he stopped a distance away from the figure, trying to deem if the person appeared to be safe, which, he admitted ruefully to himself, he should have done before running towards him or her.

???

At first the woman did not react to Francis running towards her. He was relatively far away from her, before he had started running he had been to the north-east of the group of people who were to the north of her ((if I interpreted Char's post correctly)). But when it became evident that he was running towards her and not just in her general direction she slowed down and then stopped, she looked at the man, confused.

((PS This is the figure mentioned in Char's last post. We planned this.))

((Assuming you guys simply move along....))
.....The group continued in their previous direction for another two or so hours, reaching the end of morning before the mid-day before coming across a muddy section of jungle covered in deep and many tracks along with the ruts of several wagon wheels. These tracks intersected almost directly perpendicular with their current path. There was nothing in sight at the other end, but these were definitely new tracks, no more than a day and a half old at the most.

.....The woman sighed and looked at her more jovial friend before returning Ruby's eye contact and answered. "Well, my friend and I like to go out and attempt to have a good time. However it usually ends with me keeping her out of the grasp of some snake. She has no common sense when she puts a little warmth in her." At the table, Ruby would notice that the happier woman's drink was nearly empty whereas the more bored woman's drink was hardly touched.
.....The second woman winced a little and blushed, knowing her friend was likely right.
.....The man, finally unable to contain himself anymore blurted out "Arcana, hmm? Do you buy to resell or are you," he lowered his voice to an extremely overly dramatic whisper, "a sorcerer?!"

----------

.....The bartender answered Theresa as he poured ans mixed her drink. "We get all sorts, interesting, not interesting, exotic, full of tales, some with the life nearly drained out of 'em." He set a copper cup down and slid it to her. "A silver," he replied holding out his large, work-worn hand, pausing before adding. "What kind of interesting are you after?"

----------

.....Near the front right corner, just to the right of one of the closest door to the front door he entered, Uhlsrar would find a man sitting alone. A large cloak rested on his shoulders, pulled back with the hood down. He wore thick boots and a dagger was clearly hanging from his side. As Uhsrar grew closer, he would notice a large pack resting against the wall, the side of his foot keeping pressure on it to assure it was still there. The man had short beard that had grown out recently which was dirty light brown in color, and he seemed a bit more tired than most who were here.
.....Taking a bite of the bread he had just dipped into his stew, he replied with a full mouth "Not at all-..." as he turned his head and saw Uhlsrar. He was shocked into silence for a minute, then his tone changed from a more careless to a much more polite and political one. "Yes, you may sit."

"Oh, what the hell is he doing now?" Zack muttered as he recognised Francis as he approached the figure. "I believe I was more than clear when I told him to stay away from us." as he buried his face in his hands. "Okay, proceed as planned, people, but if those two reach us, remember: we have never met either of them. And if he..." he said, pointing at Francis "...as much as hints that he does, I'll beat him to death myself. Witnesses or no witnesses."

((Which way do the tracks go, if Kaz can tell from examping them? And can Kaz tell how many people recently passed through here?))

-Kaz-
Croutching down to check the tracks, Kaz wiped his fingers through the mud. Rubbing his fingers together, Kaz stood up, "A wagon came through here not long ago, day and a half at most. Meaning that our caravan is not far away from where we are now" Kaz said checking both directions that the trail came from, and went towards.

Ruby

Ruby was about to reply to the women, which would have put the man's question on hold, but no self-respecting Wizard would leave such a suggestion not cleared up. "I can assure you," he whispered in a similar, but not as dramatic, tone, "that I most certainly am not a Sorcerer," he then shifted back to his normal voice and continued. "Let's leave it at that. Who are you?" Ruby curiously asked the man.

??? ((She's pretty much wearing what's in the picture, but I suppose this is a good opportunity to practice describing appearances.))

The woman had long white hair and fair skin, though her clothes didn't reveal much of it, she was wearing a white pointy hat, with silver details and a blue emblem including some smooth and shiny blue stone. Her clothing looked like some type of magician's robe, it mainly consisted of a mostly blue dress, a white cape and white gloves, it had various details, patterns and symbols in a silver color, much like her hat. She did not have any weapons visible in plain view. ((Note that she does actually have weapons with her, but they are hidden.)) She continued standing still, waiting for Francis, or perhaps someone else, to do something.

Platinum stops working on the second tree, thrusts his axe's head into the ground and folds his arms, looking at Francis in the distance.
"(Maybe, just maybe, we could listen to Francis for once, though I doubt I can change Zack's opinion.)"
"Oh? Who's that?" Platinum looks at the mysterious woman, "(...I'm unsure of her intentions...)"

Francis froze, staring at the gunslinger in surprise, unsure how to act upon the sudden re-encounter. He decided to force himself to relax: there wasn't any risk visible yet. But he'd keep an eye out since the gunslinger did threaten to shoot him when they parted ways.
Slouched over and with an unruly dark mess of bed hair, it would take a very perceptive person to see Francis as dangerous. His colorless orange eyes glinted with a faded glow of excitement. Unlike the woman, Francis didn't wear any flashy outfits. All he had were his garb from being on the Leaky Teacup. A comfortable tunic shirt and trousers were covered with a warm black overcoat. The only exceptionally flashy object were the two gloves that Francis wore: brilliant cyan blue, fingerless gloves with a crystal on the back of each.
When he realized the woman was waiting for either him or the vigilantes to speak, Francis plastered on a cheerful smile and said to her, "Sorry, it's just been a while since I saw someone on the road, I wanted to say hi. I hope I'm not ruining your day."
"Oh, and nice to see you again," Francis shouted to Zack, unaware they weren't in listening range or that Zack was planning to strangle him. His eyes gave cursory look over the project the vigilantes were concocting. The human swordsman now had an axe at his feet, which Francis found intriguing.
