It's in the Middle, where Pol and Ver end up...

Pol and Ver both land on featureless ground.
"..."
"...well."

Pol looks back at the crack they're closing up behind the two of them. Ver notices this, and poofs away his mech, falling down to walk over to Pol.
"...well. Not every day a mission fails like that, is it."
"Not. At. All."
"..."
*Sigh*
 
"..."
"Soo..what now?"


"...you're going back for this 'Erven', aren't you."
"Not yet, unfortunately..."
"...things were off from the start. Not to mention that sudden importance shift that attracted it."
"When then?"
"..when the importance that'll no doubt stick to Desire and Erven has shifted again. So much chaos there..."
"...and I failed to save one person."
"...and if the importance doesn't...?"
"...then someone else will have to do it. I just want to make sure they're ok."

Lemme just wrap up my loose end...

Meanwhile, somewhere in Floralis, Antasy would've arrived at one of the PMO headquarters to notify two members in particular about the situation Erven is in. I'll leave it to you all to guess which ones, with my only hint being that one of them would be Desire's worst nightmare if he was a Pokémon as he'd definitely be Dragon/Dark type.

I came up with the concept of Vasts once upon a time while watching the final few episodes of ATLA. There were these guys using simply insane pyrokinesis that I decided I wanted to be also kinda possible with Arth magic.
...
I was thinking of putting forth a similar sort of process where you watch something you want to watch and then take a second to think about certain interesting things you see there. Maybe watch YT videos on how to make magic systems too.
