This is how it felt to battle EoC on death mode for the first timeHowever, facing off against bosses like the Eye of Cuthulu presents challenges comparable to late-game encounters in many RPG titles.

Any melee weapon, ranged weapon, or magic staff can work against the Eater of Worlds. For instance, a Hammer this guide is going to force ppl to use a hammer lmao

Demon Altars now defend themselves apparently
- Hardmode
- Upgrade your tools as soon as possible. You'll find that even basic enemies become more dangerous and have more health points now, so having stronger weapons will make your life a lot easier.
- Start gathering materials for important items such as suspicious looking eye souls and ankh shield before you go get ores
- Explore for better resources! There's plenty of ore underground that would allow you to upgrade your gear far quicker than before; if you didn't already there's even a chance that Hellstone spawned in your world somewhere and this stuff has some amazingly powerful applications so keep an eye out for it.
- Keep track of where everything spawns on the map. Things like Demon Altars are only found after Hard Mode activates and while knowing their locations won't guarantee victory they do tend to be worth fighting/using depending on their drop rate
I did nowdid you see the thing about gold armor
