The Last Post Wins!

what did modding your DSi do?
can you not play it without mods or smth?
I have the Pokemon Ranger games (and also Black and Conquest) on a flash card
and my DSi's firmware was one update beyond what the card supported
so I had to mod it to let it run the flash card

I'd have used my DS Lite if the touchscreen worked like at all

I'm trying to get frost armor. I ðink i have enough adamantite, but it's rained in my world maybe twice since HM so i have no frost cores.

2 truths and a lie about me!
1. I personally believe that 2011 was the best year.
2. I've never broken a bone
and 3. My favorite NPC, in terms of design, is the Steampunker.
Which one is the lie?

I should probably color in Inith's drawing real quick

Edit: done

WHAT
things do work like that sometimes yeah

I might post my current progress on Fallen Timeline info, both the OOC intro thing and IC notes from Mirror's perspective (which picks up from where the intro leaves off)

Also I may reserve tomorrow for making a new lantern weapon for my Terraria mod

I am also working on a jerma985 "THE GIANT ENEMY SPIDER" remix
Stop judging, the last meme remix I did actually slapped
good luck with that!

Here are those notes because why not
I decided that I might as well explain this timeline in some detail, so here goes.
Basically, the Fallen Timeline is one of the many timelines that Malis has taken control of, but it is also one of the few (And notably, the first) to have made it to the first direct confrontation between Esther and Malis. Unlike in the current timeline though, when Arila was launched by Malis after she tried to protect Esther, there was no one around to save her, which led to Esther's death.
But what also happened was that Arila recovered from the launch quickly enough to switch to Pirouette Forme and stick the landing herself, and that resulted in her getting hit by a shard of Esther's soul, which caused a chain of events that can best be described as incredible luck, and I'll explain those in a bit.
The destruction of Esther's soul caused a lot of pain for Mirror, both physically and emotionally, which would have pushed her over the edge in other timelines that made it to this point. In this timeline however, she just barely held on, with that being the other cause of the chain of events.

As with the timelines before this one, once Esther was dead, Malis took control of the timeline, unleashing a shockwave meant to drain everyone (except a few people, odd quirk of that shockwave is that it just can't affect absolutely everybody) of their free will and emotions... but it was weakened because of how Arila was hit by that shard of Esther's soul, which had also caused all of the other shards to not disappear and instead get scattered around... well, let's for now just say a large part of Floralis, both in the normal and the mirror world.
The shockwave being weakened resulted in there being a lot more survivors (in case you don't know what I mean with that term, it's a general term for those that still have their free will and emotions after getting hit by the shockwave) than normal, including quite a few important people. However, some people still lost some of their emotions, to varying degrees.
One of the soul shards ended up in Mirror's room, giving an extremely weak (but still technically alive) Esther very limited awareness of what was going on there. Eventually Mirror's sister noticed the shard and pointed it out to Mirror, who picked it up and in doing so gave Esther the ability to talk to her telepathically, which initially startled her. Once she got herself together and got an explanation from Esther for what happened, she took a moment to process what she'd been told, before deciding it was now up to her to try and find two things: The other shards of Esther's soul, and other survivors to help her with finding soul shards.

IC - Mirror's Notes
I'm not keeping track of the time in this log. It's too hard to tell what day it is when it's always so dark out here. I can just about tell if it's day or night if I try hard enough, at least.

The night before I left home, someone came to see me at the Border. I couldn't tell who it was, but they gave me a protective charm of sorts. I'd better keep it safe. I have to, if I want to save my friends.
The night after that, I left. I told my sister to look after the cats, and told my family (and the cats) to stay safe. I don't want to lose them too right now.

I'll have to take the long way around, but I already know where I should go first: I'm going to visit nurse Jenna as soon as possible, hopefully she and Elyssa are okay... First up is having to go through the nearby forest though.

Was not expecting to already find something in the forest, but I found a soul shard today, being guarded by a few local animals. Now I'm wondering if I'll find anyone who survived that shockwave before making it out of here.

I'm out of the forest now. Not far from my current destination now.
I did actually run into someone, but they decided to search for soul shards on their own. If I remember correctly their name was Amulet.
I'll have to find him later if he finds any shards.
-Amulet-
Encountered in the forest not far from home. Still his normal self, from what Esther told me after the encounter.
Decided not to travel with me, but will be on the lookout for soul shards on his own.
(OOC: Currently empty, as I'm writing these notes in chronological order and Elyssa isn't in the group yet)
