Basically, somebody (Idk who. Yang, maybe?) messed up reality and now concussions are way more common.

because that would lead to massive unseen story changes
due to concussions, Chis would probably end up having a miscarriage, leading to Hunter never being born and her having severe depression
Risbit remains near unaffected due to his immunity to brain injuries
The Therian due to concussions, might make a mistake when trying to make her new form, leading to her death, which will lead to Irene's death as she would refuse to accept help from humans.
Strikus would cheer in glee as this happens, unaffected.
Idonis would get very upset but overall unharmed
Yang, not gonna sugercoat it, dies first.
Yin is unharmed due to her perfection.
Sandwichen would probably be either unaffected or the most affected
Average-Man would be affected not too much
Sir Stupid would become even stronger (stupidity=strength for him)
and Gaianix would probably become braindead

Decided to pick a weapon class for Daive real quick. Top 3 from RNG out of a list of all major terraria (and some modded) classes (except summoner) plus a paladin and supporter class were Bard (from Thorium), Shaman (from Orchid), and Healer (also from Thorium). Anyone want to vote for which of these Daive should use?

are you sure you're sleeping correctly because normally it's just laying on a mattress with your eyes closed until you forget you exist for 8 hours
