The Last Post Wins!

Ah, I see... unfortunate to hear...
At least it sounds like you're doing better now though, which is good.
I guess... I still have to retake the test again though... hoping I get an 80 instead of the 79 I got (I NEED to get 80 or else my college schedule is so messed up randomized controls seems fun)
I hate math

Ah, I see. That does suck, yeah...

Math is personally one of my favourite subjects, but, I do know it isn't a popular one with a fair number of people.

Something up?
Limbo. I've sent Cobalt a message on Xanje about what I think the best way to fix things is at this point.

Ah, yeah, been watching that from a distance...
Unfortunately I don't really have any advice or ideas to help with that situation. Just is unfortunate the roleplay seems to have been a victim of the whole thing.
Most I really can do is just get RJITU going again.

I don't want Limbo to die, that's why I privately sent Cobalt a message with what I believe to be the best course of action.

I will get back into RJITU soon though, due to Myrica's armor needing to be obtained there.

To be fair, Cobalt should be a lot more assertive in dealing with problems. Not sure how he'll get around it though.

Yeah, Cobalt seems a bit too passive when it comes to problems...

Might start work on descriptions for both Lyndis and Castien today...

Meanwhile, I need to get going with at least one picture...

Might play some Palworld today.
Also, I think I'll give Lyndis access to Coral Magic. She just has water mage vibes to me.

The best way to fix Limbo is to let it die. Start it again, even.
There is no fixing it.

If what you want is winning an unstaged battle, I could make a character to kill off. The reason my notes call them a throwaway is because I'm not going to kill off an existing character. Making someone specifically intended to not be developed too much is the best I can give.
This probably won't take me too long to get done if I just use RNG for most of the details to save time and energy.
If you want full fairness, just for that one battle, I can add in offense-side rolls in a somewhat loose way (where they mainly make attacks easier/harder to avoid, or rather, less/more likely to make me roll a D5 or lower for damage.) Though because random.org is good at giving me bad rolls, I wouldn't be able to start the battle until I'm back home (should be on Sunday), as the resin D10 and D20 should be finished by then and even if they aren't we have a bunch of dice anyway.
They have 20 health points in my system, but if you want more or less than that (no lower than 8, no higher than 32), tell me now.

I've pestered cobalt about it enough, and he's confirmed Therian VS Rope won't actually be staged at all.
Will that change Rope winning? Absolutely not. Therian is extremely weak by modern standards.

I appreciate the offer... Really, I do.
It's just... It's not enough.
Just having something settled won't fix my trail of destruction caused by unmet demands, some intentional, some not.

I would consider it a miracle comparable to Dunkirk if Limbo managed to come back from me.

It would at least help. I don't want Limbo to die.
If we're excluding Therian, then we don't have a character who would actually give Rope a decent fight. I don't have much planned for today (Maybe a silly drawing of Esther wearing a T-Shirt my mom has that I can see several characters wearing; other than that, I have Lyndis and Castien to work on and nothing else beyond PFQ, which I'm too sleepy for right now), so I can take some time to make a quick character to challenge Rope with next week. I have designs leftover, or I can throw together a new design (I have these picrews bookmarked for a reason), and at most I'd have to take a while to sprite a weapon.
(Also, once the resin dice are finished I'll toss them in my pencil cup for emergencies. It's always attached to my bag so by putting the dice in there, I always have them with me in case I need them away from home.)

...People might not have left if you at least tried to listen to them. It seems like you're barely even trying to change, when even making an attempt would be better than not making one at all.
One thing I've told my mom when complaining about the situation is this: "If [you] want to kill people without dealing with Permission To Kill, then write your own stories without us"
By writing stories alone, there's no need to have permission to kill a character, because all characters belong to you and you can give yourself the permission immediately. If you're hesitant because of a lack of RNG or whatever, just add that in! When Zaryl used Psycho Cut in their short story, I rolled a D8 to check if it would land a crit (which, hilariously, it did, getting an immediate Nat8), and there might be further instances of me using RNG to determine things for my stories (I also remember rolling a die for the Mooncrest Island lore story when Maho looked around for anything useful in the room). Just because you're writing alone, doesn't mean RNG can't be used to spice things up.

This turned out a lot longer than I was expecting, sorry for the wall of text. The short version of it is I'm willing to give this one last shot even if it takes time out of my day (which is already pretty empty so it's not a big deal), and if the fact people are getting in your way of killing characters is bothering you that much, you should think about writing your own stories without anyone else.

(Edited to change to Ilara's text color because I am absolutely channeling the hell out of her right now. I don't think I myself would have had the energy for this, sadly, but Ilara is probably my most patient and understanding character so she is definitely the one talking here)

Wha-
Oh, hi there Latias!

*Background working noises*
Okay, so the character is going to be from Veanlin. Chances are I'll still keep them after they're killed in Limbo, but they probably won't be used all that much. I'm just reluctant to sacrifice a perfectly good name completely.
