Personality: Polite, albeit very blunt. Despises anyone that jumps to conclusions too fast, but will eventually open up to people if given the time to do so.
Often apologizes for his generally harsh actions.
Equipment: A scythe that can project an energy hammer, and light armor, which he usually keeps hidden under his normal outfit.
Abilities: Teleportation and Crystal Magic (Which he likes using to capture people in cages sometimes).
Strengths: Above-average physical strength, and skilled in combat even without a weapon.
Weaknesses: His methods are often pretty harsh, his mobility is limited noticeably when he’s using his energy hammer, and comments regarding his past can cause him to lose his patience very easily.

Like Glisten, his right arm is infected. In his case it has already spread halfway across his upper arm too, but he now has a glove that stops it from spreading further as long as he wears it.
Personality: Cold and harsh, taking even longer to open up to people than his normal universe's counterpart. Still tries his best to be polite to others.

It won't happen to other OCs unless they too are infected from the start. Which in general, this infection is specific to the Cold Bonds universe (at least unless I find a logical reason to add it to other universes too), so only CB counterparts can have it.
In case you end up making a Cold Bonds character with the infection though, what I have so far is that it usually leaves affected parts of the body stiff or paralyzed, sometimes freezing in place completely (leaving the person open to attacks as they'll barely be able to move anywhere until the frozen body part remembers it, in fact, is not a floating rock), and it slowly spreads across the body until it fully infects the person, at which point they might as well be dead as they can't move anymore and might not be able to think either. Clothing made with certain methods can slow down or pause the spread, as shown by the gloves Esther and Zin wear.
The infection is in some way sentient, and Glisten is on good terms with the being that sort of embodies it for her (nicknamed Cosmy). Its motives aren't really known yet though, but Cosmy at least seems to disagree with them on some level. It doesn't control minds like Rooted Corruption does.
Some infected like Esther also gain access to things like Starlight Form (a power boost when her life is in danger), but not all of them do. I'm actually unsure if I should give Zin something like Starlight Form or not.

Cold Bonds is an AU I have that is stuck in an eternal winter, so characters in it have needed to get used to the cold climate and some were changed physically by it (Atu's Water type changes to Ice for example)

Weaknesses: His infection has had more of an impact on his combat capabilities due to his preference towards heavy two-handed weapons, often forcing him to fight unarmed because his arm is paralyzed.
He gets exhausted pretty quickly from using his magic, and his methods continue to be pretty harsh.
