It's amazing just how the forums react to such things.

Like, I don't want to excuse rules violations, but at the same time, there has got to be something to be said about the larger picture of the situation as well.
 
I'd even be willing to propose a compromise of just restricting what parts of the forums they can be in.

Like, the off topic community is probably the main group that cares about him, so maybe just limit him to those sections and ban him from the rest if that's what needs to happen.

yeah, the larger picture always helps see stuff that makes the warning seem obsolete

Personal Attacks, and retaliation with hostile behavior is not acceptable.
