They take out one canister from a sling on their chest, filled with some sort of white liquid, and load it into the railgun.

The ant person then looks into the cave Night and Maiko entered. Then they set off into the cave.

(I'm just going to assume you're not with the person currently pointing a railgun, ready to bore a hole into anything in front of them, but rather with the decidedly nicer Maiko and Night who are also in the cave)
