Aha, fun. Silly question though, please - Although they are different sprites, does that mean that they are not the same kind of material drop? In other words, after chopping down the Oasis tree, do they still stack with Palm Tree blocks in your inventory? Or will be their own unique kind of tree like Shadewood or Ebonwood?

He answered this on Twitter, they just drop palm wood.
 
Small worlds are gonna get even more cramped than they already are with all the mini-biomes... (I prefer small words simply because they load faster; ease of travel due to biome closeness is a bonus.)
 
New critters! (Dragonflies?) New trees! (Or, more likely, updated palm trees.) New flora!

And is that a flock of geese flying in the background?
