LOL tried the overseer with the spirit burst and it actually almost worked.

Hmmm he may need a tiny nerf... It took about 4-5 attempts to beat him
 
What do spiritbloom seeds do? I can't plant them like any other seed yet the only interaction I'm given is that they're placeable.
 
EASIER WAY TO KILL THE OVERSEER AS A SUMMONER

Get the dark sun's zenith.

It does a lot of damage and hits the overseer hard.

Just killed him on the 3rd try with this weapon without an arena.

What armor? I tested first with Stardust armor 5 times, literally nothing. Tried Calamity's Auric Tesla Armor, still didn't do much and every single time I died... Yet somehow the dragon did better, so I'm confused

I used stardust armor.
I don't know why it doesn't work for you.
I'm removing half of his health in around 2 minutes.

Optional weapon would be the ghast staff from the spirit island chest.
You can only summon one but spam the dark sun zenith at the same time.

If you still have problems craft the orion's zenith.
This murders him even more if you use the left click ability.
DON'T FORGET MANA REGENERATION POTION !!!

It seems like you use the minecart strat still?

Of course it won't work then.

Try him without an arena and solar wings.
But it will take A LOT of tries to figure out his pattern.

Sounds weird but you need to have the overseer on the screen as a summoner.
Only then the weapons can unleash their true potential.
For example getting him to half health in under a minute with a ruthless orion's zenith.

And that's the problem!

The summoner class needs to be played in a way any other class can afford.

(Is the Calamity's devourer of gods in Revengeance Mode easier with any class than overseer as a summoner?)

That's what I did
I'd say I'm pretty good as a summoner... I've been using Summoner and Mage for years, just because I like them so much. They're my classes of choice
(Btw I didn't use track)

Hmm, i don't understand why the orion's zenith doesn't work for you.
I killed the overseer 5 times with this weapon now.
Each try took less than 3 minutes.
Maybe you are not used to summon weapons the spirit mod has to offer.
These are pretty much mage weapons but they do summon damage.

Last questions: How do YOU use the orion's zenith?
Do you have any other summons summoned except for the zenith summon?

1) I use the Orion's Zenith by staying kinda near Overseer, letting it damage him repeatedly
2) I have Stardust Cells. Using the dragon would be kinda dumb because it would take up all the damage lol :dryadsmile:
EDIT: Well tbh it doesn't really matter. I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong and that it is a really good weapon lol. All I'm happy about is that I beat and gave a tutorial on Expert Overseer with a 'true' summon weapon :dryadsmile:
