My entry is based on the major additions of the three major updates (1.1, 1.2, 1.3), those additions being the Hallow, Crimson and Lunar Event. I have made custom versions of each.

I have the three original bosses, the eye of Cthulhu, skeletron, and the eater of worlds, i have the three original biomes, the purity, the hallow, and the corruption, the three original classes, melee, ranged, and magic, and the three original hardmode ores, cobalt, mythril, and adamantite.

I've decided to write some song lyrics about a person in Terraria after he/she loses their loved one. Even those he/she feels broken and lost, they keep moving forward to eventually take down the final boss in revenge for the other's death. The reason why I didn't a gender specific character is because I want the perspective to be able to be shown form both sides. There are various references to "three." I'll leave a key below for them.

Daybloom, sunflower, water leaf
Wash away you pain, strife, and grief
Moonglow, fireblossom, shiverthorn
Brighten up the way as you move forward while shielding from the world's scorn

Remember the time we traveled across this reality
It felt so real despite it really being a fantasy
Pitted against Corruption, Crimson, Hallow, Corruption, Crimson, Hallow
With you by my side, I never felt hollow
As we fought hand in hand
We transversed across this strange land

But then it happened so fast
Even though we fought against goblins, pirates, martians from first to last
Something struck you from behind
You dropped to the floor as my world began to unwind
It seemed to have chortled before it left us be
As I held you close to me

Beautiful leaves and flower petals scatter in the wind as if to say goodbye
Seemingly synchronizing with your very last sigh
Wet and steaming droplets slid down my face
All the while you began to erase
The color started to drain
My efforts to save you were all in vain
As I listen to your still pulsation
I vow to take retribution
The touch of your skin still feels as if you were there
Even if you already with the air
Gleaming lights float alongside your essence
And gently become one with the clouds of brilliance

Now it's been three long years since you left this world
My perception of hope has been whirled and twirled
Three long years and now I feel like I need something that I lack
Even as I wait I know you won't come back
So instead i'll do my part
And finish it all for you with my heart

Without your by my side, nothing went well
How long must I endure this, only time will tell
Every day and every night I was always thinking about you

As I fought against the true cause of your loss
The one responsible for this chaos

Fighting against our enemies forever
Even if you aren't here, I can still feel your graceful presence
Giving me a feeling of reminiscence

Blow after blow I delivered from my sword of lux
Until I saw its exposed crux
I gripped my gleaming and holy sword
With one mighty scream and you pushing me forward
The core shattered and green and gray substance scattered
However that wasn't what mattered
I finally avenged you, my love
I have pierced the darkness and went above
May our souls intertwine when I at last die
And may we be one with the serene sky

Pain, strife and grief.
Most of the terrarian plants are listed in groups of three.
The three years they've been together before the tragedy.
The Corruption, Crimson, and Hallow.
The goblins, pirates, and martians.
Three years have past since the tragedy.
"We've been together" is stated three times to signify their bond.
And some more little ones such as the Moon Lord's eye count.

The Three Mechanical Bosses, in full on traditional, stereotypical villain-y clothing, all in the good old 6x4 tile size Terraria painting. Scheming, plotting, the Three Mechanical Bosses have been and will continue to be the bane of players on their first nights of Hardmode.

For my entry, I decided to try out an idea I had where I make 3D builds with an isometric perspective by using and manipulating sprites and textures directly from Terraria. For the contest specifically, I attempted to recreate a floating island house, the dungeon entrance, and the ruined houses of the underworld. I chose these structures because all three of them (at least as far as I'm aware) have been in the game since launch, and they were the only traces of civilization that could be found in the original version of Terraria.

Unfortunately due to time constraints (i.e. Me not getting starting until the last week), I couldn't fit in all the details that I wanted to include, and the final product might seem a little rushed in a few areas. Still though, I'm fairly happy with what I accomplished, and I hope you guys like it!

(Oh, and I guess this goes into the artwork category? I'm not really too sure, but I figured it definitely isn't the other two.)

Player Trio Minecraft pixel art in gMod featuring from left to right: @Zaicon, @Oleg34518, and a fellow from Vindictus server Sleepy; number 3 from a multiplayer aspect of Sonic 3.

Conceptualization was fun, coloring's fun, interacting with these Terrarians are fun. They can really liven things up in their respective domains!

My entry goes under the Artwork section.

This is a drawn trio of the 3 representatives of the 3 main celestial bodies that are represented in the game and that are the Sun, the Moon, and Terraria.

(The photos have been taken with a phone that sucks at taking photos, sorry for this, I don't have better...)
(Also, they have a background color just so the dark outlines stand out better on the paper.)

Whew, hopefully it's not too late for me to enter.
My piece goes under the category of "In-Game Creations"

The build I decided to go for is of a great wisteria tree, which I built at spawn, with the theme being "The Three Powers". The idea is that a wisteria tree is a beautiful sight to behold once it flowers, but remains dormant for a very long time, much like hardmode once it activates. Wisteria is also not a tree on its own, but a parasitic vine that needs structure to grow upon, hence the third power, the pure living tree I've depicted, as that is one the Hallow and Corruption/Crimson do the the purity of the land once they bloom.

Really down to the wire on this one. Do mind that I didn't discover the competition until the 17th, then started on the 21st.
I've never seen anyone talk about the dungeon bricks having the skulls, or the eyes, or even the mandables... Thought it was a good option because of the ignorance. That is my best build I've done in Terraria by far. Everyone can make amazing things! -given the time and effort. :)

This is literally a last hour drawing so it's nothing special.. but I made it in time at least!

I drew this in memory of the poor bunny I ran over the other day late at night.. I was able to carry it off to the side of the road for animal control to rescue it, but it had been paralyzed so they had to put it down.

I did not want to have an evil or bloody bunny for this trio shot so instead I opted for the three non-holiday bunnies, the normal Bunny, Golden Bunny, and Party Bunny. I went with a brown bunny just for some contrast to the party one.
