...and some of them still with some rotten flesh.
Might indicate there is a trap with the chest.
Proceed to open, or watch out?
(The trap won't be lethal... if you try, you'll see what I mean.)

Birdius tries placing an Iron Ore next to himself.

With a distant boom, a vaguely familiar, armor-clad figure strides out from the only, still-remaining, charred hut amidst the rubble, the noise coming from his creation of yet another hole in its side.

He silently gazes around as his cape wavers gently behind him.

Ossea seems to glance only at the bridge, trying to avoid eye contact with the figure. She has nothing to say as well.

Birdius tries placing an Iron Ore next to himself.

...Nothing happens.
Except some skeletons are real skeletons. One of them aren't though, being startled by the iron ore placement.
It looks at Birdius...

...then shrugs, going back to its sleep.

Seems like everyone assumed a time skip. Okay, so now the exploration group is at the Corpio Town debris.

Were they just a wrong person at wrong time, or a cause? I dunno, I don't have any ammo to fight with...

Placing things is just placing things irl... except when you're not expecting it to happen in an irl way.
But, you do have an inventory.

If you use your newfound ability of doing the "placing" creatively, this might help a lot.

"Hold up. Anyone has a degree in interplanetary biology or something?"

It's hard to tell how Fragment is feeling, but they're just following as well.

Gazing to the distant, Song and co. can see a pile of debris.
A river is in their way, but there is a bridge. Seems recently built.
I'd say Arentine and another alien creature is there but ehh... @Fluxxation, @Orchamut, WAKE UP TO THIS
